The front tire of the M1 wears out fairly quickly on asphalt. You need to be prepared to take it apart to replace it. I'd say for that reason you probably want to go M4. However...if you don't have the space, the M1 with the wall mount is the only option if you go with Torque. Torque just put up a video showing the tire replacement on the M1 if you want to see the process.
Thanks for the feedback with your experience using the M1 on asphalt! Do you use it on any other surfaces? What surfaces have works best in your experience?
@jordanschaefferfitness I've only used it on asphalt. I live in a cul-de-sac and the M1 hangs in my garage. I'd love to use it on stall mats or some sort of rubber flooring to preserve the tire. But with a 2 car garage that's not feasible.
I have the updated M1 with the new front. Im 6'3 and 280 and find it gives great resistance on setting 3. The front end never pops up and I use no extra plates. Are you using the old m1 before the 3 position front was added? If you watch knees over toes guy on you tube he will make a case you cant do better than a sled for protecting the lower body. Great review btw

@@jdw958 love the ability to hang it up and save some floor space!

Thank you!
This is the updated M1 and yes I agree the tank is great! Adds great variety to your program!
Found a brand new one on FB Marketplace for $250. Thats a no brainer to me.
That is a steal of a deal!!
Thanks for the honest review!
You bet! 💪
Please show me the heavy mode and light mode of this, I will make one for myself, but I can't figure out how that system works.

On grass😅
Not the best surface in the world but it works haha
@jordanschaefferfitness Thanks. I just plan to use it on grass but didn't want to invest in one if it wasn't going to function properly. 👍😁
