This is incredible! The efficiency and precision in the Japanese mass production of stationery is truly impressive. It’s amazing how they manage to maintain such high quality in every single product. Definitely a whole new level of manufacturing!
This is what I came here to say. They were so precise and controlled even in each worker's movements. Almost like surgeons -- no wasteful movement! There was almost ZERO dust/product that flew into the air, out of the machine, and onto the ground. We couldn't get the full perspective, of course, but I'm willing to bet that whenever there's the rare spot in the conveyors for "fall out", there's an equally efficient way to re-collect it and still reuse what had been missed or left out. Everybody appeared to be wearing the proper safety gear over their entire bodies throughout the process. And did you notice how clean it was overall??? A graphite processing factory that isn't drowning in its own dust and blackened char bits. The whole world should be paying the Japanese to take lessons on their safety and efficiency.
I find Japanese culture and techniques to be fascinating... Its like they have merged the past with the modern , and artisan's are everywhere , the more I see , the more I respect this Culture... 👏🏻
6:47 I'm guessing the manufacturer isn't allowing the filming of the colored pigment/pencil carbon mixing process and forming into the ~20 cm diameter extruded slugs that are then extruded a second time into the final pencil lead size filament. If so, a disclaimer informing viewers of this fact lets us know you aren't just being lazy or sloppy in skipping this interesting step. I hope you didn't think viewers would be uninterested in the color mixing and first extrusion steps and just skipped it.
I think it is legit not to give away all trade secrets otherwise a big neighbouring country would flood the market with similar looking products but with lesser quality!
@@dipling.pitzler7650 I give them the benefit of the doubt in saying maybe the manufacturer not allowing recording.... but I actually really doubt that is why - how complicated could pigment mixing into the graphite really be, you know?
Absolutely! I had to turn it off. Repetition x 1000 is torture. And we didn’t even need the stupid “music”. Just the ASMR factory sounds would have been fine. :) 🐱🌷🌱
I appreciate the effort put into recording these scenes, but it's a bit tough to watch when many of the shots are out of focus. I hope this can be improved in future videos!
At 10:40, when he's putting the dry wicks into the box and then covering the box, that sound is unexpectedly satisfying. I don't usually watch these types of videos but this is really interesting. How do they keep everything so clean? They deal with so many powders and every inch of skin is covered but their work-spaces are spotless. No motion is wasted.

The first location was excellent, but the later ones were sadly lacking 😮
@ProcessToProduct small error in subtitles : the correct spelling is 'COLOURED'
Another reason for appreciation ❤
Wearing that watch in a production environment 😉. Ok.
The safety and PPE in the first setting was great. Proper care for the workers.
Sadly not so much in the subsequent locations.

Exactly! It is very anxiety provoking. I turned it off, but then couldn’t hear the factory sounds. . .
this was so much fun to watch :D thank you for sharing the video!
Merci.

It’s wonderfully done. However, it’s much better without the anxiety inducing music.

The humble pencil which maps ideas to paper is an incredible human invention…hardly ever thought of!
Next time I use a writing stick, I will remember all the great pains and processes it took to make that writing stick/ pencil! ♥️
42:58 Wow! Making the ink paste is a very hands on craft. Very precise like all of these products. :) 🐱🌷🌱
From now onwards, please tell your children how precious is a piece of pencil that he is using. How amazing is the production.
Absolutely brilliant! I'm blown away by this video!
🥰🥰🥰
Quy trình sản xuất văn phòng phẩm Nhật Bản, Hết sức quy mô và hiện đại..🇯🇵👍.

Any Japanese product = perfection
Japan make the best stationary products, no question!
I wish this had no music, still great video.
Good video, but loud annoying music. Why?
Trang thiết bị sản xuất máy móc thiết bị tuyệt vời. Người Nhật làm ăn OK 🇯🇵👋.
The video is making art supplies, but the music is riding wild horses through the Mongolian steppe!
Good morning 😊❤
woah, is that person at 33:11 sticking their hand in a shredder?
that must be the shocking part.
nice video😊❤
That's loud enough. Thx
WOW😊
What stationary? All I saw were pencils, some block ink, and chalk sticks. No stationary
Alatnya canggih
Japan continues to produce reliable and quality stationeries than most countries.
I agreed, would rather have the video without music
❤🇬🇷
❤🇬🇷
How do the ink stick workers get the soot out of their skin?
3 minutes of the music was enough.
Cool? Yes. Shocking? Not so much. We've been in the machine-age for quite some time now, you know.
11:09 Why in the hell don't we have equipment like THAT in the US?!? 🤯😲😱
Que legal
Wow
IMHO.
Shocking indeed.
Can you please turn off the music? I love your videos
Mass production to me is what I say in America pencil factories. This looks like a much lower production rate or non-automated then I have seen
❤🎉👍👌✌️
Help me the doors at 33:28 are two different heights aaaaaaa
Nice video but annoying music 😖
Processus industrialisé ... comme au XXème siècle !
stop music pleaseeeee!!! Horror!
I don't like the added music
Couple of repeats, again.
🏹☯🇯🇵🎴🏹
Müzik berbat ve monoton ve rahatsız edici. Yarıda bıraktım.
This is cool, but not 'amazing' or 'shocking'!
So not the ONLY company that makes pencil leads in Japan but the only that that does nothing else EXCEPT make pencil leads... phew.
