A new contender to the "hottest chip in the world" !
I compare the Paqui 1 Chip Challenge with the Hot Chip Challenge ....

Wow, my friend bought the hot chip and we decided to try it in the middle of a mall, the first thing I noticed was the awful taste which stayed with me for hours, it took all of my strength not to throw up immediately.
For the rest of the day, I couldn't move without my stomach being in intense pain along with a really strong need to throw up. I felt ill for two days as well
Will never be doing it again 😭😭
I did the hot chip challenge yesterday and was thinking today which is hotter of the two as I haven't tried the paqui one chip yet.
Safe to say, the hot chip didn't taste very good. So might try the paqui one if I can one of these days, see how it taste like.
But I do think the hot chip already has 2 extra points, one being it's smaller size, you can quite easily just eat the entire chip in one go. Kinda in the size of a doritos chip. And the second point being it does include one glove, which you don't have to use, but it's nice being able to use it to handle the chip, then take it off without worrying about touching your face or near your eyes accidentally with any powder residue on your fingers. Just a nice option especially for first timers, it also does help you understand without spelling it out, that there's a reason you might want to use the glove, and that extra thought alone might help prevent you from accidentally touching anywhere really (just by having you think about it) and getting the residue on a sensitive area like your eyes, even if you opt out of using the glove.
You are absolutely right about the safety measurements.
Just as a heads-up, the paqui one-chip does not taste better than the hot-chip. They are both just really hot.
(I´m not sure about the new 2023 one though)

I doubt the 2023 will be much different, it is afterall mainly just a corn flour chip with spices, I am planning on trying one probably next month so we'll see

you´re absolutely right .. it does!
Every day one also has a different sensitivity to heat-pain too. So that makes it more difficult again. I´m not sure whether there is really an objective way to really compare the burns.

I had a a tiny piece of the hot chip and struggled lol
I tried the hot chip one yesterday ,was very hot but not as hot as I was expecting ( I had a gallon of milk a defibrillator and the Merseyside fire brigade on standby just incase ) but never needed em , very hot though did a fair bit of sweating afterwards
If you prepare well, then you can handle it pretty well....

Die neuen Paquis (2021 und 2022) sind deutlich schärfer!

@@akashijin6502 - scheinbar beinhalten die Paqui-Chips gewisse Zusatzstoffe die in der EU nicht erlaubt sind, und daher werden die auch nicht in Europa verkauft.
Du kannst die aber z.B. von der League of Fire Webseite bestellen.
