That NG tube is my worst nightmare over any surgery ! Watching your story is helping me prepare for my Barbie butt journey. I do have my ileostomy for the second time in my life. Born with a disease called hierschsprungs (might be spelt wrong) Thank you for your journey helpings others learn and plan for the future!
Katie , how are you doing now ? I hope you’re doing alright following your BB surgery 🙏🏼🤍 I just had my BB surgery on February 21, 2023 and would love to have someone to talk with about this recovering process 🙏🏼
@gaylelizabeth I've had an NG tube before and it was definitely not a pleasant experience because every time you swallow you can feel that tube being pressed against the back of your throat which is such an uncomfortable feeling. I swear sometimes due to the chronic diarrhea I've been experiencing ever since my laparascopic right hemicolectomy I sometimes find myself wishing I'd had a colostomy, which was actually one of my biggest fears prior to the surgery.
I'm having APR surgery in Dec due to cancer. I'm scared to death! But I want to thank you for putting yourself out there for the ones of us that are facing this so we know a little bit of what to watch for and be prepared.
Fortunately that doesn't happen to us men because in the world according to girlietube male's are forbidden from having any such surgery. I only had my ascending colon removed almost two years ago, which according to the laws of girlietube shouldn't have been allowed to be done because obviously I'm NOT a female.
