I’m betting on the D11 before I’m even 5 seconds into this video. The 11 is likely geared lower, probably still weighs as much or more all of those other pieces of equipment combined, plus it has steel grouser tracks to dig in where the rubber tires and rubber tracks don’t come close to grabbing the traction those would need to even hold the 11. Pretty cool though to put it in perspective, with the video!

And it only weighed 220k, unless the trucking company and the rigging company were lying to me and were just gonna overload the shit out of their trailers for the 40k they quoted me to disassemble and transport the machine from the pit in ND to mine in OH.

@@michaelanderson7715 in this case is both, that's a 12 cylinder 4 massive turbos , 1000 hp and basically infinite torque because of the transmission, plus 250,000 pounds gross weight including the ripper, that's a serious machine
But it's not good to pull on the dumptruck in that way. The hitch takes a lot bigger load than is intended i believe. I've seen them being ripped apart from being pulled by bulldozers.
I used to run one in fort dodge iowa twenty-some years ago they are very very powerful we got one stuck in the mud and it took 4 weeks $10,000 worth of railroad tie and cable to pull it out the blade is 1 and 1/2 Suburbans wide and about 10 ft tail
Hell yeah. They were digging a canal down in Mississippi and got a D11 stuck. It took 4 of them to pull the stuck one out. They had the huge winches hooked up but it just slid all 4 right along the ground. Then they lowered the blades and picked the front ends up and got the tracks spinning and dug out a bank behind the dozers for the tracks to brace against then hooked up the cables and started winching. I swear the power of the huge winches was lifting up on the front of the D11's. That was some serious torque. But slowly the stuck D11 started to move and about 45 minutes later it was crawling out in it's own traction. That was the most impressive display of power I have ever seen.
Hi mate, yes the idea was to lock the brakes on all the vehicles so we didn’t damage any drivetrain components, Brad was driving the dump truck and decided to give it a bit haha. The big strap is 100t the smaller white ones are 50t and the blue one is 25t😁
By the way that big hook on the back of the dozer in the Winter time in Iowa when it is frozen solid That D11 can push that street through frozen ground and I have seen chunks come out As big as that little tractor no joke it sounds like shotguns going off Under your feet amazing power

Those challenger's (the yellow tractors) have spraying tracks on them the normal tracks are probably 3 times wider AND this challenger's are not the largest and most powerful models
That d11 has a cat C32 engine, thats a 32.liter v12, that case 4 wheel drive alone has just a suped up 12 liter, assuming its the 689 some horse power one, isn't that amazing? They don't put very big engines in farm machi ery for some reason, they seem to think that running those tiny engines at high RPM is the way to go, imagine how efficient machinery could be if you put more like a 15 or 18 liter in it and ran it at 1200 RPM or less for tillage.
I understand this is probably private info you would rather not share but I would be fascinated to understand the economics behind the dozer… how much it cost to purchase?upkeep and running costs, how far you transport them for different work, what you charge out at, what sort of supplementary machines you would need to own one e.g a excavator to change tracks? And cost of that eq…. Ratio of work on your own property vs others… etc. etc… as I said probably not info you want to share but I’m sure it’s a pretty high barrier to entry so I don’t see any competition popping up haha… anyway just a thought, I would find it very interesting and I’m sure many of the other people would as well. Two reasons, we didn’t want to damage drivetrain components on tractors. Also once tractors break traction it doesn’t matter if tyres or tracks are spinning or not it’s the same resistance to drag them.😁👍
First glue is weight. I had too look it up and it is mindboggling - at over 110 000 kg. The other machines combined - while heavy - are less than half the weight of the big dozer. Traction, power and gearing are secondary.
I doubt this thing could drag my teenage son out of bed before noon on a Saturday....

But the Komatsu D575A is about 180 tons!!!!!!
Komatsu's dozer is the biggest in the market!!!!
The d575 is 153 tons not 180,the Acco dozer is 180 which never worked and only one was made
