Positives: Mathurin is ascending, Jarace is getting closer to being a key player, Siakam looks great, If Ty gets back to normal we have a legit big 4 Negatives: Ty's performance (injuries too), injuries to others, still no big wing capable of defending big wings, rebounding will continue to be a challenge
Mathurin needs to be the primary SG with Nesmith at SF and Jarace Walker playing backup SF. If they ever want Walker to develop a SF game.. He will need to have minutes to develop that. Playing backup SFs would be the best option. Given the matchups work well enough. I understand right now they need him at PF. Which would probably be his best position, had they never traded for Pascal.
They need a legit wing so bad.. With what they have, they have no choice but to stagger mins. Forcing Mathurin to play SF because Nembhard.. I'd look to close the 3rd and 4th with Mathurin at SG and Nesmith at SF for Defense and to have Mathurin more accessible on Offense at the SG spot. Not having him in the corner at SF.. but he can get those run in rebounds and rotate on Offense with Nembhard moving to the corners too at time's to get shots when needed.

23:09 Aaron Nesmith is an ideal sixth man. He defends 4 positions well, and he can score. He can sub for any of the starting 5 and have impact.

Siakam has been far and away the best player on the team. Hands down.
