Finding these documentaries uploaded on RUclips just goes to prove that this really is the Portobello Road of the 21st century. I was fascinated when I first read the book back in 1981 and have remained fascinated in the intervening years between then and now. Thank you for making these 'Chronicles' available as I was too young and too distracted by life to have watched them the first time around. Still enthralling viewing.
There seems to be a growth in historic commentary that gets viewers closer to find the treasure-who cares about what history tells us, as it has been recorded and documented! WOW!!!! My great grandfather's name was Bernard. He and my great grandmother are two of my ancestors I can find virtually nothing about. Barnard's eldest ancestral root, leads back to my 9th great grandfather, Richard. He was first document in 1653, in Saybrook, Connecticut, marrying my 9th great grandmother, Mary. Previous to that, the trail goes cold. Every male in my paternal lineage was named either Richard, Samuel(x2), Zebulon(x2), Harrison, Reuben, Bernard, or John(x2). I've never heard any historical reference to the name Bernard before now. My grandfather, John, was an extremely successful coal miner at Holden Mine in Washington. He was an explosive expert. When the mine closed, he went on to own a business demolishing land for construction in Spokane, Washington. It is suspected that my g-gpa Bernard, was a miner in Canada, which is where he married my g-gma. This entire video line is fascinating! I'm kinda a fanatic about historical puzzles and enigmas. The mountains there look EXACTLY like the mountains where I live.

Henry should have kept quiet about his investigation until he had finished pursuing it. He has people flocking to and destroying small French villages and historical objects, throwing secret societies into the spotlight. This story at it's conclusion has nothing to do with any of these and is about sacred geometry and the teaching of the Sumerian and Egyptian ancient mystery school's. The ancient race's were able to map time and space using these and other methods. Second's in a minute, minutes to an hour ect. We know they could accurately measure up to almost 24000 years with great accuracy, they called this "The Great Year", such is a precise measurement of time it takes Earth to complete one full movement or wobble on its axis due to a massive impact from a comet or planet sized object when the earth was younger. That is an amazing feat and one that we have only recently had the means to measure using technology. They also worked out the size and orbit of not only earth but all planet's in this solar system including the existence of a planet that was only discovered by us in 2019. Somewhere in the distant distant past their was a society that were extremely advanced quantum physicists that were light years ahead of string theory and mathematics as we know it. They built structure's on Earth's natural energy line's where the Earth's magnetic fields were strongest from Pole to Pole. We can only guess at the extent of what they new. This societie then moved though out the world as all major continent's have the same information, ideas and structure's which more or less mirror each other. All this before the development of the wheel suggesting that a different evolution of thought and technology developed, it was particularly forgotten due probably to natural disaster or this information was as is practised still, kept from the masses and only held by the elite or those deemed worthy but there is little doubt that this was once common knowledge. You are right David. In the sense that the beautiful little village has been overrun. It absolutely received the wrong kind of publicity through the earlier releases of this man's research. As is detailed in this, really the final chapter in this narrative, the tomb was destroyed by the land owner who was tired of would be treasure hunters trespassing on his land. The tomb had already been vandalized and smashed open at the time of its destruction. It was in fact nothing more than a landmark. Although not ancient it did date from Templar time's. It was symbolic as well as geographically significant. The secret's are written into the landscape but you must have the key or cypher to make sense of it. The secret society's are initiates of the occult, which simply means secret or hidden always referring to knowledge. Just as the great pyramid is a scale model of the earth but the knowledge was forgotten or lost except for the few. Until last century when the actual distance of an Egyptian cubit was rediscovered, enabling those with the intellect to measure the pyramids base and height. Using a very simple equation the base is accurate to 1 degree of the actual circumstances of the earth. It's height is just as accurate measuring from pole to pole. To a similar end, if one knew what measurement of distance the Templars used the geographical symbolic pattern marked out by Templar castles, the tomb and other landmarks spoken of in this documentary it would no doubt be possible to apply results onto the curvature of the earth, stand back and be amazed at what these people knew, equally amazing the times they new it in. There is obviously methods for calculating the curvature of the planet to work out its dimensions to the degree. The documents have apparently been proven to be forgeries due to the code being in modern French, not 18th or 19th century French. This kind of takes away any credibility from any of the findings except the geometry in the area linking the various churches. Thoughts?
One can impose geometry on many images and get them to 'fit', and make all sorts of claims that cannot be dis-proven. The priest's will should be a matter of public record and go a long way in clearing up some of the so called mystery, yet I've never heard of anyone researching that. What you will never get is the church records of what the priest was called on the carpet for, mail order fraud, advertising in magazines all over the world to say prayers for money, a practice supposedly banned by the church. Funny how Henry calls it "rumours" when he's talking about the Knights being tortured and they confess they were worshipping the devil, given power and communicating with a head called Baphomet. Dear Henry, I have been doing genealogy for many years, I have been drawn to it since I was a child. When working on a particular branch I am led to this story. I would be interested in speaking to someone about it. I have been able to trace back to as early as 300 or so on some branches. For example I know I'm a direct descendant of Clovis on one branch. One of the most interesting aspects of my family tree is that it seems that there is a repeated pattern of marriages that bring together opposing lines, often times from historically prominent figures, and sometimes apposing religions or movements. I feel there's a spiritual purpose for my bloodline to have mixed opposing sides, because it is a consistent pattern throughout history. A few of my interesting ancestors are, John knox's father and Martin Luther, Several different branches that lead back to the house of Stuart, The Kennedys, Henery Wallace, The Hamiltons, The Plantagents, The King David, A Helena of Troy, a line of Frankish Kings, the Oldenburgs, both Constantine and a line leading to Turkish Kings . I even descend from John Rolfe on one line and From Pocahontas father on a different line. This line was difficult to trace. My Royal ancestors strategically married into Royal Native American lines upon coming to the New world, this was before America was even established but later it became illegal to marry a Native Americans and therefore they had to go into hiding which just enforces that common theme throughout my line! I have not found a lot of ancestors in France except for Loraine, which interstingly was a safer place for Jews though Many of the Jewish people in Lorain we're not practicing. This is one of the mysterious groups possibly Jewish? I have a significant line of Magdalenes which is one of the clues that lead me to believe I could be connected to Magdalene and this has been one of the more difficult lines to trace. There is a glossed-over jump here at 32:29 - 'henceforth it was to be known as the Priory of Sion' - by whom? - and who drew up this genealogy of its 'Grand Masters'? Who selected Isaac Newton, Debussy - et al.? What was its function? And if these are 'Grand Masters', who are the people forming the group that owes them allegiance and obedience? A 'Grand Master' must have people to be masterful over - including other 'masters' of lower rank. The current 'Priory' has been exposed as a hoax recently. The academic (and otherwise) pursuit of secret societies has swallowed up a host of thinkers/academics/intellectuals/cranks. It's a never-ending morass, sucking you in and never letting you go. It's biologically impossible for one human being to have overseen a 'conspiracy', or whatever it needs to be called, over the centuries that have passed since the crusades in the 11th Century. So if this 'treasure' was, instead, a secret - what could be so devastating about it that the priest, who did the final confession for Sauniere, left (as the story goes) a shaken, broken man? One idea that suggests itself is that Mary Magdalen came to France after the crucifiction not only with her child - fathered by Jesus - but also with Jesus himself. This would mean that, as he didn't die on the cross, then there was no resurrection or ascension. Henry should have kept quiet about his investigation until he had finished pursuing it. He has people flocking to and destroying small French villages and historical objects, throwing secret societies into the spotlight. This story at it's conclusion has nothing to do with any of these and is about sacred geometry and the teaching of the Sumerian and Egyptian ancient mystery school's. The ancient race's were able to map time and space using these and other methods. Second's in a minute, minutes to an hour ect. We know they could accurately measure up to almost 24000 years with great accuracy, they called this "The Great Year", such is a precise measurement of time it takes Earth to complete one full movement or wobble on its axis due to a massive impact from a comet or planet sized object when the earth was younger. That is an amazing feat and one that we have only recently had the means to measure using technology. They also worked out the size and orbit of not only earth but all planet's in this solar system including the existence of a planet that was only discovered by us in 2019. Somewhere in the distant distant past their was a society that were extremely advanced quantum physicists that were light years ahead of string theory and mathematics as we know it. They built structure's on Earth's natural energy line's where the Earth's magnetic fields were strongest from Pole to Pole. We can only guess at the extent of what they new. This societie then moved though out the world as all major continent's have the same information, ideas and structure's which more or less mirror each other. All this before the development of the wheel suggesting that a different evolution of thought and technology developed, it was particularly forgotten due probably to natural disaster or this information was as is practised still, kept from the masses and only held by the elite or those deemed worthy but there is little doubt that this was once common knowledge. Henry should have known better. He says he is sad at what has become of the locations he made famous but I don't believe he lacked the foresight to see that this would happen. Maybe information is kept from societie for a good reason all the small minded treasure hunter's thinking they will get rich plus religious zealots wanting to find a bunch of bones to bless them. The treasure is knowledge and the wisdom to apply it!
You are right David. In the sense that the beautiful little village has been overrun. It absolutely received the wrong kind of publicity through the earlier releases of this man's research. As is detailed in this, really the final chapter in this narrative, the tomb was destroyed by the land owner who was tired of would be treasure hunters trespassing on his land. The tomb had already been vandalized and smashed open at the time of its destruction. It was in fact nothing more than a landmark. Although not ancient it did date from Templar time's. It was symbolic as well as geographically significant. The secret's are written into the landscape but you must have the key or cypher to make sense of it. The secret society's are initiates of the occult, which simply means secret or hidden always referring to knowledge. Just as the great pyramid is a scale model of the earth but the knowledge was forgotten or lost except for the few. Until last century when the actual distance of an Egyptian cubit was rediscovered, enabling those with the intellect to measure the pyramids base and height. Using a very simple equation the base is accurate to 1 degree of the actual circumstances of the earth. It's height is just as accurate measuring from pole to pole. To a similar end, if one knew what measurement of distance the Templars used the geographical symbolic pattern marked out by Templar castles, the tomb and other landmarks spoken of in this documentary it would no doubt be possible to apply results onto the curvature of the earth, stand back and be amazed at what these people knew, equally amazing the times they new it in. There is obviously methods for calculating the curvature of the planet to work out its dimensions to the degree. If the original pyramid builders could do it then the knowledge has been out there for a very long time. The ignorant look for literal treasure of gold and silver. The initiated look for actual treasure which is secret knowledge hidden in symbolism, behind ancient myths and legends. In numbers and geometrical images and shapes and of course in ourselves. Almost every ancient culture has the same pantheon or family of gods just with different names ect, all cultures no matter how remote have pyramids, the image of the dragon. The serpent representing knowledge and a similar creation concept. It is known to those who look and listen that an advanced global civilization once thrived on earth. The documents have apparently been proven to be forgeries due to the code being in modern French, not 18th or 19th century French. This kind of takes away any credibility from any of the findings except the geometry in the area linking the various churches. Thoughts?
One can impose geometry on many images and get them to 'fit', and make all sorts of claims that cannot be dis-proven. The priest's will should be a matter of public record and go a long way in clearing up some of the so called mystery, yet I've never heard of anyone researching that. What you will never get is the church records of what the priest was called on the carpet for, mail order fraud, advertising in magazines all over the world to say prayers for money, a practice supposedly banned by the church. One could claim that this entire 'mystery' is a created obfuscation to disguise the truth, and no one could 'prove' it wrong. Funny how Henry calls it "rumours" when he's talking about the Knights being tortured and they confess they were worshipping the devil, given power and communicating with a head called Baphomet. I have been doing genealogy for many years, I have been drawn to it since I was a child. When working on a particular branch I am led to this story. I would be interested in speaking to someone about it. I have been able to trace back to as early as 300 or so on some branches. For example I know I'm a direct descendant of Clovis on one branch. One of the most interesting aspects of my family tree is that it seems that there is a repeated pattern of marriages that bring together opposing lines, often times from historically prominent figures, and sometimes apposing religions or movements. I feel there's a spiritual purpose for my bloodline to have mixed opposing sides, because it is a consistent pattern throughout history. A few of my interesting ancestors are, John knox's father and Martin Luther, Several different branches that lead back to the house of Stuart, The Kennedys, Henery Wallace, The Hamiltons, The Plantagents, The King David, A Helena of Troy, a line of Frankish Kings, the Oldenburgs, both Constantine and a line leading to Turkish Kings . I even descend from John Rolfe on one line and From Pocahontas father on a different line. This line was difficult to trace. My Royal ancestors strategically married into Royal Native American lines upon coming to the New world, this was before America was even established but later it became illegal to marry a Native Americans and therefore they had to go into hiding which just enforces that common theme throughout my line!
I have not found a lot of ancestors in France except for Loraine, which interstingly was a safer place for Jews though Many of the Jewish people in Lorain we're not practicing. This is one of the mysterious groups possibly Jewish? I have a significant line of Magdalenes which is one of the clues that lead me to believe I could be connected to Magdalene and this has been one of the more difficult lines to trace. Anyways, I am wondering how one could go about contacting others from this line? Would you be interested in conversation about this? Honestly, even though this has been something that I have suspected for quite some time it was hearing about the birthmark that made me decide to reach out. My mother had it on the front of her forehead and on the back of her neck and it wrapped around her head it was the rose color and shaped like the Rose cross. Also another thing I thought was interesting is that I felt strongly that I should purchase this large home I was drawn to it it was an old old home that needed fixing and I worked on it for many years and did many things in that house. Who selected Isaac Newton, Debussy - et al.? What was its function? And if these are 'Grand Masters', who are the people forming the group that owes them allegiance and obedience? A 'Grand Master' must have people to be masterful over - including other 'masters' of lower rank.
The current 'Priory' has been exposed as a hoax recently. The academic (and otherwise) pursuit of secret societies has swallowed up a host of thinkers/academics/intellectuals/cranks. It's a never-ending morass, sucking you in and never letting you go. It's biologically impossible for one human being to have overseen a 'conspiracy', or whatever it needs to be called, over the centuries that have passed since the crusades in the 11th Century. It is also so unlikely as to be impossible that one body of people could have given rise to successive generations that would have tended this 'sacred flame', in its initial form, until the present day. You could object by saying that the same is true about the Catholic Church - but they are not a 'secret society', and they have been bolstered up publicly by the adherence of billions through the ages, and have undergone huge changes, scandals etc. - whereas this is supposed to be a very select, secret 'society', ideally committed to an eternal, immutable faith - but prone, nevertheless, to the myriad hazards of mutable existence that all generations face.
This whole 'quest' always brings you back to the question 'Where did Sauniere get his money from?' Was it a pay-off because he discovered something that was an embarassment to, or an undermining of, the Christian faith , or the Catholic Church? The 'Treasure of Solomon' would, despite its spritual heritage, still have been material riches, in some form or another. So if this 'treasure' was, instead, a secret - what could be so devastating about it that the priest, who did the final confession for Sauniere, left (as the story goes) a shaken, broken man? One idea that suggests itself is that Mary Magdalen came to France after the crucifiction not only with her child - fathered by Jesus - but also with Jesus himself. This would mean that, as he didn't die on the cross, then there was no resurrection or ascension. This would be a huge 'secret', and would destroy the essential tenet of the Christian faith - that Christ died for our sins as a manifestation of the love of God for mankind, yet rose again as a promise of eternal life to all who follow the Christian faith. However, the question still remains - how could this secret be transformed into wealth? Why would the Church bribe Sauniere not to reveal it? It would have been more likely to have done away with him - and even if he had 'revealed' it in some way, then he would have been dismissed as a crank and sacked as a priest, thus becoming even poorer than he was before.
