    right, I had severe vit D deficiency, yet when I took my supliments, in the course of 2 weeks, my levels stabilized. But sure, they don't actually work.

      @@Empathy4Animals411 No, it proves that my general well being improved drastically. Being it a synthetic hormone or a UV produced one, the outcome is exactly the same. Point is, they do not "not work"
      It may shock you to that most products we consume nowadays are SYNTHETIC uuuuuuu~~

      Exactly. People hate to commit.. Love to hear why they shouldn’t have to do anything extra for health.. Don’t exercise to much it can…
      Etc. I take supplements as a vegetarian and find them beneficial to me. Placebo perhaps but I feel good and will not stop because Dr. Doozy said I should 🎉

      If your levels stabilised after taking 2 weeks of supplements, why do you say they don't actually work or are you being sarcastic. Many people take 10,000i.E on a daily basis with vitamin K2 MK-7. Numerous benefits.

    Have they determined if multivitamins help poor eaters who don't get enough nutrients from their diet? Many people skip meals, eat processed foods, junk food, overconsume alcohol, smoke tobacco (which can deplete vitamins already in their body), etc.

      These are lies that Big Pharma always puts out, they have been trying to take away supplements from us since the 1970s. Why? Because they work, you see they have destroyed our food supply and the soil we grow them in. We used to get our vitamins and minerals from the vegetables and fruits we ate, but since the end of WW2, all modern farming went commercialized. Tons of research and studies have been done by scientists, and naturopathic doctors for some 70-plus years, since the early 1940s, when vitamins and minerals first came out. If you want the truth go back and read the early books starting in the 1940s on all the different supplements that these doctors treated their patients with and had excellent results.

    vitamin D may help with the depression, especially for those spent most time indoor with little sunshine.
    it may not help with cancer or cardiovascular disease, but what about depression, anxiety, insomnia etc?

      I would always get my vitamin D levels checked first. Vitamin D supplements are recommended especially for people with a risk of deficiency, e.g. people who cannot go outside, people with very dark skin, etc. But they are used to prevent a deficiency.

      So far there appears to be little evidence to support that. Similar to what was mentioned in the video it seems that people have lower vitamin D levels due to less healthy lifestyles which make them more vulnerable for other illnesses. The vitamin D shortage is a symptom, not a cause.
      Having that said, I have noticed that taking a little bit of vitamin D supplement has made me feel noticeably better. I no longer feel cold all of the time and generally feel healthier. And this is something I have been able to reproduce multiple times by cutting the supplements for a month or so.

    Just eat a balanced diet. Unless you have something really specific to address (like anemia due to an inability to absorb iron), vitamins are a waste of money. Even the 7% reduction in cancer is more likely due to other lifestyle factors. Example, people who take vitamins are also more likely to be people who don’t smoke.

    I used to bleed nearly to death from months of heavy bleeding. Even when I ate healthy for months and lost weight.
    Started taking vitamin D, vitamin k2, magnesium and a multivitamin. Now my period is regular monthly and light.
