      I made it myself. I have ordered all the components from eBay. Soldered everything together and put them in that black project box.

    What about the motor sound?

      It is noticeable. Plus the remote has got two timer relay they are klikking. This slider is definitely not for video. But from the timelapse perspective it doesn't matter. Also the motor is very slow for video. If I made one for video that would be a totally different story. The controller would be much more simple and the motor needs to be quieter.

      in this case, you probably should use a closed loop servo motor, something like from JMC (the real servo motor, not hybrid stepper motor). or even better a magnetic linear motor (but i dont know where to get one as well as how much they cost)
