  • The President of the Nigerian Medical Association, Bala Audu, has expressed concern over the decreasing rate of doctors available to tend to patients in Nigeria.
    He pointed out the ratio of doctor-patient in the country is spiraling downward and it is 1,000 percent less than what the World Health Organisation recommended.
    He further highlighted poor working conditions as one of the causes of this japa syndrome wave fast luring medical practitioners abroad
