I'm glad he sees it as well. The FIRST Twilight was actually pretty good for what it was. Catherine Hardwicke captured the angsty awkwardness of teens super well and there was humor/irony to it and an almost indie-film vibe, plus the casting was great. The movie overall felt authentic and far superior to it's literary source. Then the studio smelled the cash cow and milked it by breaking it down to bad cliches and grandiose gestures. I had a fan experience & an opportunity to watch the Batman. What an awesome introduction to an even more grounded, young, and restless Bruce Wayne. With only two years for young Batman, the film is dark, it’s gritty and it’s all about the detective work. This is why we all love Batman because he has so many layers upon layers to explore. Matt Reeves just revolutionized the Riddler. Paul Dano was amazing, pretty much every cast is amazing. What I really like is that the film shows us how young Batman is scared to even fly off high-rise buildings still, but also throws out his body with no hesitation to enemy bullets, sometimes not being able to control his anger during a fight. He gets shot in the chest, punched in the head, and doesn’t give in. But above all it haunts him to see anyone get hurt because he’s still affected by the death of his parents. The cinematography is amazing, and boy the city of Gotham is just on another level. You’ll get scared to even pass by the city let alone live there. Shows the true nature of corruption and political deceives. Reeves created a unique Batman set just as Nolan’s was different than Tim Burton, as well as for Zack Snyders Batman. Each director builds their own unique elements and universe for Batman. Perhaps the greatest advantage is that character Batman is so versatile and any director can interpret it based on the excellent comic books written. DC needs to focus on these kinds of movies because honestly, they’re just perfect. I’m hoping we will get another amazing trilogy if it continues like this. My respects to all the previous and current directors for giving us different types of Batman. I really like all the Batman iterations since 2005. (Baleman, Batfleck. & Battison).

I never thought that Robert was going to play Batman's role, but he did it. As a result of the film, he mamazed me as much as the whole cast from Colin Farell as Penguin to Paul Dano as the Riddler. Actually, before I saw The batman, I saw 3 movies of his, between them "The lighthouse". So, I could realize how talented he was as an actor.

sometimes I look at him and I can't believe that the obscure little lanky guy from Harry Potter is now Batman. I was barely 11 when I saw him for the first time as Cedric and now nearly 30 and I can't be happier and prouder of him!

he is such an incredible actor, one that i think has been really successful at rebranding themselves to be more that the role they were first known for. he's got so much variety, i feel that he could play almost anything, and that's really special.

One of the best talks of Robert... So sweet and funny when he mentions the babies cast for "High Life" that didn't want to do anything with him at all 😅 and then they cast his goddaughter... I love the good words he spends about every character he played, about every actor and director he has worked with so far... I love his total dedication to make each character the best always... and most of all I love his way to follow his intuition, no matter what... even if people around him may suggest he should change something, he just follows his way, because as long as he feels there is something good about it, he will go for it... Go Robert! I will always support your career! 🌟

For a very long time he was Edward for me and thn when I watched DATT and specially that confrontation at church scene I was totally blown away by it.... Robert is really underrated in so many ways.
