My son and I met a new rider at the trail head last year and convinced him to ride with us it turned out to be one of our more fun rides of the year. He crashed 3 times but survived and still riding today.
Love it! Looks like a good group of friends there buddy. That’s what makes riding so much fun 🤟
Lol🤓
Hi
@Midwest MX your amazing love the vids keep it up
Hell yeah
Heyyyyyy
That beginner riding deserves an academy award haha great stuff!
It was incredibly difficult to ride with such poor form haha. Talk about a workout!
Nic beginner or novice
*I liked how he was so bad it took the joy out of his buddies making fun of him.*
What if I am a beginner
You should do this to actuall random groups 😂make it a series
That’s actually a decent idea
Oh yes, I plan to when I go back to Texas this winter haha
Yes plzzzzz
Yes!!!!

Hi

I love your vids

1985 technology...That one stung
RIP YZ owners.....oh.
Ya its called reliability blue my friends who preach the orange coolaid fad...
If it came to it I'd by a Husky or gas gas just to stay clear of the ORANGE BIKE FAD.... LOL 😆 🤣 😂 😹 😆
@@endurotruckererniedesjardins I try to avoid European bikes. Bit of a Yamaga exclusive guy. I love the reliability, and actually have a bike from 1984. Honestly, a lot of the tech is the same. Reliability reigns king.
I'm glad Yamaha is sticking with the old school yz
I own a mint xl125s 1985 I can confirm
You have the nicest friends ever, to welcome a stranger new rider like that and change the trail plans, 10 stars for your friends
That's wot it's all about

Bro bought a whole new dirtbike just to prank his friends
For us👍
@@PietriGuitars good he deserves it
@@julianferguson9212 and the bike he definitely deserves the bike

5:14 "Bless Rebeccah's heart" That line was hilarious. lol
Genuinely glad I watched this... what a lovely group of friends and how warm they were to what they thought was a new guy....
Genuinely grateful to see this... makes me proud to be a biker....
DAAMN i found you again, its been 5 years since you took down the other channel, good to see you making videos again, hope you upload more, missing the wr 450 and the fz-09 vids
I didn’t take down the other channel it’s still there! Glad you found the new one though 😁
"I'm like from uhh... Minnesota" "That's why he sounds like that!" Damn bro... hurts a little 😂
yeah especially me a michiganderrr...
Fr lmao.
Great attitude guys. Sometimes it gets a little boring waiting the "new" guy. But one day you all ride together, it totally worth the time.
Not even joking I’ve watched this like 8times the whole video 🤣🤣🤣🤣
My takeaway is the part about being welcoming into the community. That's the way to grow the sport we all love so much. My first time riding was as an adult as well, and the guys who took me we patient and kind just like your buddies. Nice to see. Oh, and funny as hell.
Us dirt bike riders are a different breed. And want everyone to have fun and get better.
“Imma stay behind couse i dont wanna see you die” that makes sense lol
Yeah
its so the newbie doesnt try to keep the pace of an experienced rider. the experienced rider will follow the newbie at his pace. imo
My dad loves to watch ppl drive motorcycles
You should've showed up on a KLX300R wearing mismatched gear dude then done that drop....
Oh what’s the signifigance of showing up on a 300r
4 strokes suck
@@dirtbike_rider_7144 they last longer
@@Thatblacksierra they arent as good for trails
@@hoc06 where im from 4 strokes are way better on the trails no room for error seen lots of 2 strokes end up at the bottom of cliffs

Great message in this video. That drop looked crazy. I like how your buddy said “we all come up to this drop and no one does it”.
MAN WHAT ACTING CLASS DID YOU TAKE! LMAO
I'm 52, live in FL and been on dirt bikes, three wheelers and quads all my life. Later in life is when we rode MX tracks mostly, and I understand selling the prank, but we never, ever made fun of the n00bs. But the dirt bike culture you try to exemplify here is spot on. No matter what track or where we ride, everyone I've ever met has been cool AF and gracious, expert and intermediate riders helping the new guys and everyone is willing to lend a tool or even parts if needed. What really puts a frog in my throat is on the beginner/ kid tracks, every parent helps out every kid on the track when needed just like they were their own. My son's first time on a KX 65, he ate shit bad over a table top and I was out ran by two other parents getting to him lol. Good times.
Need people like that around here.
Well played my man and kudo's to your friends for having a heart and giving Derrick a chance👌🍻
What’s funny is I’ve been riding single track/trails my whole life and I have people like that tell me to stand up in a condescending way(I only stand in rough stuff or tight spots). Puts the biggest smile on my face when I pass them through the trees 5 seconds later haha.
she was not being condescending she was trying to help prepare me for the creek we were about to go in. Sitting down in there is waaaayyyy harder and more abusive than standing up. No one who knows what they're doing would sit down riding through those creek sections. She was only trying to help!
@@BeRAD No I wasn’t talking about her I was talking about the dude in the beginning when you were in the campground haha. I know a lot of die hard single track or die guys that stand the entire time and try to tell me how to ride and get smoked that was my whole point. I stand up in the ruff stuff and tight spots but I like to tail corners sitting down, because I come from a moto background.
Yeah I didn’t get that either lol. I’ve only been dirt biking once tbh so I’m very new, but even still Imma sit my ass down at the campsite where it’s completely and entirely flat you know? None technical parts ig. Give my feet a rest!
“Stand up!”??? In the parking lot? Bahahaha
Watching Brad ride is always inspiring. Great rider.
Great friends, they were being so kind and patient with the new dude.
Friends like yours are a huge reason I love riding.... the love and Camaraderie we have toward each other is amazing.... anywhere I go I can roll up to other people on bikes and feel at home, around where I live we have people that legit chase newbies and non locals out of the woods it’s insane. Either they are mad about newbs being in there way or mad about non locals drawing attention to “THERE” spots, it’s disgusting, no dude it’s not YOUR spot. It’s THE spot and we’re all here to have the same fun, get the stick out of your ass and enjoy your day like the rest of us!!!!
Loll
I want to go ride up there baddd
Iv been riding since I was a kid and now I'm 34 finally learning how to air out bigger jumps. And I'm constantly meeting other riders in the desert who are friendly with whoever wants to tag along.
That's awesome man I used to ride alot when I was younger i haven't rode in years but I think it's time I get back into it and grab a bike. I remember it being the most fun, free feeling you can get and just the best time. I'm glad to know there's other people that love riding just as much as I do
@@elijahfinister5463 I'm 34 and getting back into it. I don't have the guts I had when I was a kid and I'm a lot more sore after a long ride. But I enjoy it as much as I ever did, and still get that feeling of freedom and excitement. The adrenaline is a bonus too.
@@jondoe4667 That's awesome to hear that man keep living life to the fullest age is just a number 🤘
@@elijahfinister5463 I would agree with the age is a number thing if I wasn't 34 going on 100. Lol I have pain in body parts I didn't know existed🤕. It's worth it though. I still get the same adrenaline rush, and feeling of freedom and excitement I got when I was a kid.
@@elijahfinister5463 I even switched to riding quads for a few years. But there's something I get from riding dirt bikes that I just don't get on a quad.
Alternate title “there is 1 imposter among us”
@Toby Moore yes agreed
dude your friends seem like they are family to you, thats the goal!
Man they seemed like a cool bunch of people, your right man they was willing to help Derrick 😁😂
Smiling from ear to ear! AWESOME!!!
Such a great group of people, met them at TV. They treated me the same my first time out. Great group! BCR
theres is 1 imposter among us...
lol good vid man that looked like some fun!@!@
Soooo much fun!
Honestly.....ive been the new guy with a new bike. I met some guys riding they took me on some single track that I was in no way ready for and ultimately they circled back around to check on me because I had to stop to rest. I figured they would have left me but they didnt. Riding motorcycles is a brotherhood in a sence and its a great lifestyle
Absolutely! Glad that you met the right group.
It’s funny to watch the video through once, then go back and watch it again!😂
Imagine just being able to pick up a brand new yz on the spot

Valid statements good enough lol......
Shout out to Bekah for not only helping, but teaching me some handy tips. Great video bro
there are two type of people in the community. brads friends and the 17 year old that comments without a profile picture just to talk trash
Mad props to EVERYONE!
That was awesome. And great narrative toward the end, regarding how we should be to other new riders.
You got an amazing group of friends man. Here in Canada near the toronto area, the tracks and trails are filled with punks that are so shady and always wanting to start a problem if your a newbie. It sucks. Much respect to you all! This is the way the entire community should be.
This is probably my favorite RUclips video of all time i come back and watch it every once in a while
Good job! Good times! GREAT FRIENDS!
The fart noise going over the puddle sent me into tears🤣
Awesome video! I’m about to head out of my house in a few minutes. I’m 45 and just started riding a dirt bike a month ago. The youngsters have been cool to me and I stay out of their way because these guys are sending it. I’ve snowboarded for 25 years so it’s the same kind of etiquette. I’m loving the experience and have ridden every day since getting the bike and getting a lot better even though I still suck. It’s cool to see people being decent to a “newb”
Dude... that part about the sport needing us to be cool to noobs is straight up WISDOM! Shout out to all of your friends. The part where she was like, "I'm not buying you gloves, but YOU'RE gonna buy them." That's the way adults who care should communicate such intrinsic requirements to strangers. It would be disrespectful NOT to be so blunt.
Probably harder to ride crappy , than it is to ride good . NOTHING like good friends .
Wow ...hard to find a group of friends like that....yall are like a family..great to see this video
This was just some wholesome funny content well done
A whole new dirt-bike bro just to prank his friends that was a good one.

It was pretty cool to see your friends make friends with you randomly on the spot. Nice people.
My first time watching one of your videos and definitely won't be my last, new subscriber for sure!
I was laughing the whole time and thinking, "I can't wait to see the looks on his friends faces when he reveals himself" ...But man they almost had you pegged from the start hahaha
Your friends....are great people. They are really kind. Willing to help a brand new person with no thoughts about doing it. Great people
So funny that Alex knew all along but wasn't fully sure. Wish I had watched this video sooner.
I can't believe how long you were able to keep this going 🤣Travis sounds like charlie from always sunny in Philadelphia.... 😆
Enjoying the content. Getting a bike soon, havent rode in 4 years and with my ride time im probably still a "beginner". But to keep up with my close friends whose been riding their whole lives, you just gotta send it. Its made me learn pretty fast lol. Checking out hidden falls when my buddy comes down from Idaho.
Aww the ending almost brought tears to my eyes 😭
Derrick seems like a goon
The bike community is literally so nice.

Bro you are correct. I went riding last year for the first time with a group of people and they welcomed me like one of there own. After that experience I was hooked with this beautiful sport. Good video.
Seems like he didn’t fool alex
Point is true the riders are that friendly I love this sport ,am 62 still welcoming everybody I can.
"I'm gonna stay behind you incase you die" "I dont wanna see you die" wouldnt that force you to see a person die if said person was to die.
Truuueeeee
I'm a new old rider. My first real new to me bike was a 1979 Honda Elsinore 250. This was in 1981. I quit riding in 1986. Here I am all these years later in life. Single after 30 years & living on my family's private 7K acre Texas ranch. 50 miles west of San Antonio. Now I just need a dirt bike! When I have the extra money to buy one, they are all out of my range. Way too expensive! When I don't have the money, all bikes are half price! I just hope when it finally does happen for me, I have great friends like yours to ride with! This was a fun video...
