Rimac has 1888bhp @ 2300kg.. the SU7 has 1548bhp @ 1900kg..... that's 820bhp/ton vs 815bhp/ton..... that's very similar... and the Xiaomi may corner faster with it's aero, that may give it the edge over the Nevera
Thank you for your comment, @fatdoi003! You’re absolutely right; the power-to-weight ratio of the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra is indeed very close to that of the Rimac Nevera. With 820bhp/ton for the Nevera and 815bhp/ton for the SU7, they are quite comparable. Additionally, the advanced aerodynamics of the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra could potentially give it an edge in cornering. It will be interesting to see how these factors play out on the track. Stay tuned for more updates and detailed analysis in my upcoming videos!
Thank you for your comment, @winojoe6788! Indeed, Xiaomi has come a long way from being primarily known for its smartphones. The company's expansion into diverse fields, including electric vehicles, is truly impressive. There’s an interesting story behind Xiaomi’s decision to venture into the EV market, and I’ll be sharing more about it in an upcoming video. Stay tuned!
Is kinda of mission impossible, Rimac with an outrageous power did it in 7.05min… it needs to improve at least 20second to be at the top 5 on the green hell. Electric cars still too heavy to master the corners even knowing they have a huge amount of power
@hyellucas, you’re right - mastering the Nürburgring is a monumental task, especially given the weight of electric cars. However, the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra brings new innovations and a unique approach to performance. We're excited to see how it tackles this challenge. Stay tuned for more updates!
Thank you for your comment, @oss0303! You're right, the NIO EP9 has an impressive lap time of 6:45.9 minutes on the Nürburgring Nordschleife, making it one of the fastest EVs. However, there's a small question mark over whether the EP9 qualifies as a production car. The Xiaomi SU7 Ultra isn't just aiming to beat prototype records. Xiaomi specifically targets the production car record for four-door sedans. It will be exciting to see how the SU7 Ultra performs on the Nordschleife. In our upcoming video, we'll also delve into the latest developments in Xiaomi's battery technology and how they impact the vehicle's performance and reliability. Stay tuned for more exciting insights!
Xiaomi is clearly amazing, with huge ambition and billions of dollars to create a car company from scratch. Using Porsche as a benchmark shows its ambitions to emulate the best.
@akhusal You're absolutely right! Xiaomi's ambition to build a world-class car company from the ground up is truly remarkable. By using Porsche as a benchmark, they're clearly aiming to compete with the best in the industry. We're confident in its ability to perform well, but we'd love to hear your thoughts on why you think it might not make it through a second lap. We've also got some new information about the battery technology that we'll be sharing in an upcoming video. Stay tuned!
