Jon Bokenkamp: All those questions are legitimate, and I think the answer is all the above. Was the kiss real and did it come from an emotional place? Yes. Was Liz using Ressler? Yes. Could she have used him if it wasn’t a real, earned moment? No. It’s such a complex moment filled with so many emotions - that’s what I like about it. What’s even better is where this story goes. TRUST ME, THAT KISS BETWEEN RESSLER AND LIZ IS THE BEGINNING OF A REALLY GREAT STORY THAT’S BEEN YEARS IN THE MAKING.

I hav been waiting for this from the day she found out about who tom really was.... now after all this time finally, but somehow it seems like Liz was being insincere about that kiss, really hope it was genuine, would love to see more romantic scenes between them.
I am sad because I feel like she played him. I hope this doesn't put a strain on their partnership.

Stopped watching the Blacklist about two seasons ago. The stories told just didn't grab me like they used to. And honestly have gotten so so frustrated about Keenler not really happening - after all that suspence and underlying love the series built up over the years.
- And now that? A kiss. With all these various feelings lying beneath? Kinda genius at this point of their story - and I totally agree with Jon Bokenkamp! Thanks for uploading 🧡

I too stopped watching this after Season 5 I believe.. Reddington is the father or not kept on confusing me and after a point I stopped watching this altogether. Ressler and Keen have a great chemistry but will they be an endgame?? Needs to be seen.. I started to love Tom Keen's character and they killed him off...not holding my breathe for this.. but this scene was good.. sometimes you don't need a kiss to love and see the chemistry between 2 characters.. if they can project these feelings without the PDA.. soo good.. kudos to the actors.. #TIVA didn't have lot of PDAs but the thing between the characters was sooo good..

@@MrDante1947 As I wrote one year ago I started picking up that series again - but now I stopped watching, again. I miss the Ressler/Elizabeth momentum. And I honestly don't know if I give the show and its storylines a chance again. Well apparently it's #complicated, me and The Blacklist lol

They got all they wanted for except the question who ist reddington and their relationship. But that’s okay for me. Aram &Samar are a nice couple mr cooper has everything. Only ressler had problems with Prescott but that’s ok I think

This is just a perfect scene. Full of feelings based on their shared history, but with the newest dynamics of fake Katarina, Dom, N13......Liz needing time to find answers, asking Ressler for help, so touched by his belief in her that she has tears, powerfully drawn to finally kiss him, knowing he has to do his job and easily reaching for his gun, filled with conflict over her feelings for him and some shame/self-loathing for feeling like she's betraying him. Megan's playing Liz as a perfect film noir character here.

Honestly I love blacklist one of the best tv shows but I’m so sad Liz died before episode 9 like I’m still in season 3 but I just heard and I was sooo upset like why she should have stayed alive till the end
I just read that they didn't even actually kiss eachother in this scene. They actually had to kiss mannequins due to this season being filmed during covid. You can def tell when it shows keen looking at ressler and all you see is the back of resslers head.

I couldn't wait for season 8 to start and now that's here it's kind of disappointing I just don't feel the enthusiasm with the turn it's taking cause if the whole season is about finding Liz it becomes boring . I love James Spader and don't really care much for Liz or her acting.
