And even the most talented singers can’t sing Beyoncés songs even close to as effortlessly and smooth as they can bc they don’t have the range or agility she does.

The technical issues were not alleviated until 1992 and became obviously present again after 1995. Even in her famous daydream era, she would CONSISTENTLY over brighten her tone in order to reach her high belts however that obviously took a toll on her as that’s not the proper way to achieve high belts and in 1997 her voice seemed lower than ever along with an ever present rasp. The rasp throughout her range in 98% of her career was UNINTENTIONAL and caused by her lack of solid technique. The nodules excuse is tired because simple anatomy and biology will tell you that nodules are not CONSTANTLY inflamed. A person’s voice with a bad case of nodules simply CANNOT function the way hers did in the early/mid 90s. She has instances later in her career where her nodules ACTUALLY were affecting her vocal performance. You all just use them as an excuse to justify when Mariah’s lack of proper technique creates vocal issues. Mariah’s tone overshadows most of her technical issues because people think a pleasant sound means a solid instrument which is definitely not the case.

To me, your voice must be pleasant to my ears FIRST. Then, technique comes right after. That can be taught and improved with extensive training, but vocal color can't. With that being said, I'm going with Mariah. Beyonce is a talented vocalist, but her voice doesn't move me like Mariah's, Aretha's, Chaka's, Anita's, Phyllis', Teena's, and especially not Whitney's. But that's just me. I have an old soul. I will say that I think the best vocalists currently aren't even in mainstream music like that (i.e. Brandy, Jazmine Sullivan, Fantasia, Tamia, etc.)
