For those who aren't Brazilians or Portuguese, "fala amo" means "say, 'I love'". Yes, he's just saying to his girlfriend to talk in Portuguese every time she wants to say that loves him, because even if he doesn't understand her language his heart know what she means
ps.: his girlfriend is Brazilian, that's why he used Portuguese (wich is our official language)

@@whatnani7372 you're welcome. They probably used Google translate (terrible choice). In Brazil we don't use "I" that often, also we say "amor" (love) or "amo"(love) to refer to our loved ones (it's like "honey"). So if you put just "fala amo" Google will mistranslate it.

Here we have a song about how much Oli loves his wife, and we're complaining that it's not depressing or angsty enough. It's a great song. You're not forced to stay, it's fine to like other things, but either listen to the older stuff or find something else. It's that simple.

It’s been a great pleasure to see Oli grow and heal over the years through the music. It’s been a beautiful brace thing of BMTH to say fuck the listeners and make music that they want to make. When I listen to this music and watch Oliver in interviews I see a big difference between this time and the years that came before when he struggled so much. Well done to him and the band.

I have been listening to this band for a while and i just came across this sound. Oliver's lyrics and understanding of thing is incredible. in this song he is exactly correct, when 2 people fall in love they must speak the same language of love. your mother Tongue. only your pure soul can speak that language of love for you. this song is beautiful.
I know it's different but I enjoy it. I'm getting older. I'm not an angry teenager anymore. I like songs that sound like the band is reflecting back to their life. Sounds like they found peace. I enjoy that, especially if I really love the band.

I fell in love with someone, we didn't speak the same first language but he knew enough English to communicate. This song reminds me of that relationship in the most sentimental way... altho it's long over. But there's a certain romanticism about being in love with someone who doesn't speak the same language as you... because there's so many other methods of communication that you come to cherish.

I'm not protesting against the change itself I think its good in general, but I don't like the specific direction in which they are headed. I think that a lot of theire strength an a band came from their ability to say whatever it is that they were trying to say without hiding, and that's the opposite of what they did now. I literally had to hear it three times in order to understand the messege they tryed to convey, and the truth is that it's kind of disappointing.

Don't have a problem with their new lighter sound, was happy with Mantra and Wonderful Life. It's these ones that are straight pop and not pop/rock like the aforementioned two that I'm a little iffy about.
That's most of amo for you though. Mantra and Wonderful Life are probably the only two heavier ones on the album. At least this and medicine still have real instruments unlike most pop music

If youve been the same person since high school you probably lost a lot of great people, if you’ve changed you probably gained so much more. I don’t think you can be happy being the same your whole life, I feel I’ve changed every other year like BMTH’s sound, I feel every album is a different part in my life. BMTH keeps me going no matter what the sound is like, cause at the end of the day it’s not a genre it’s art.
