I noticed that you indicted that White Summer and Black Mountain Side were written by Jimmy Page. Page's song White Summer was worked up from Davy Grahams version of the Irish tune "She Moves Through the Fair". Black Mountain Side came from a traditional song called Blackwaterside which was recorded by British folk guitarist Bert Jansch in 1966.
Brilliant. Just Incredible. You could be forgiven thinking that the percussionist has channeled his inner Keith Moon. Uncanny similarities with his appearance. Thank you fellas, I’ve heard this countless times now, and it doesn’t get old. The guitarist is off the charts.
Coincidently I got introduced to this music while my mother got cancer.. i lost her a year later and this music has left a permanent mark on my life! ...That was 12 years ago btw
Loved it...always wnated to hear white summer/black mountain side on indian acoustic set...tabla definitely sounds great here along with beautiful acoustic guitar! Kudos
As a trap set drummer age seventy who has played this song heavy metal style and also seen every video of Ala Rocca ever made all i can say is Awesome . Tabla master I applaud you both
I really would like for people to stop saying “Cover” these guys are musicians in every sense of the word. This is a performance and an amazing performance at that.
Excellent great playing thank you . I hadn't played in 20 years I purchased a 12 string as I was learning to play again black mountain side came to me I was determined to learn it even though it was double tracked I came up with my own version and was able to do the solo I had always dreamed of playing it with a tabla player I would play this for hours because of the trance like rythm . beautiful thanks again cheers !
Dude played those tablas so hard his eyes were fu*kin' damn near poppin' out of his head...🔥🔥🔥
He has Popeye syndrome.
it is a very difficult instrument
I bet that he's got intense eyes anyway. That's the look of a dude who's hung out with high Yogi's. Correction - Sannyasa's*
He’s blind

You just blew me away. If I weren't watching, I would say I was listening to Jimmy from"69" Era. Awsome. You should feel proud. Absolutely great job.
It's a mystery to me how this doesn't have a million views. Outstanding.

@@mcfcguvnors sure is.
that's because the percussionist did not blink.
Totally agree ✌️
I've lost my mother a few days ago and this is like a fresh new air to me.. finally.. through music, I knew it...
Life will never be the same, but life will never be the same. Take heart my friend.

Jimmy Page and his music will live forever... FOREVER.
People who say that Page did nothing but borrow, steal from, and rip-off others.... they're either jealous or dumb - maybe both.
@@JD0124 DUDE, ignore those MF's, Page is the GOAT
@@JD0124 Listen to Bert Jansch's Blackwaterside recorded in 1966, and then think again!
by far the best cover i've seen of these 2 songs
Good Lord. It's not just a scale of 1-10, sometimes you get a reminder that humans can hit 13.
Bert Jansch is smiling down❤
Blimey, pretty amazing 👏👏 the tabla player reminds me of how I looked after taking acid - many years ago of course
Absolutely fantastic. The timing, feel and collaboration between drummer and guitarist. Brilliant
Man, oh , man. You guys transported to those places that listening to those LZ albums takes me.
