IT WORKS! I DID IT, AND I NEVER THOUGHT I COULD STAND UP IN THE SHOWER! 😃👌 AND IT WAS FANTASTICALLY EASY! 😄 Oh sorry, I didn't mean to shout, but this is so exciting. 🙂👍👩🏼🦼
Moving the body is so important at any age. The younger you start healthy fitness habits... walking, bodyweight exercises, and gentle stretching will keep you moving well into advanced age! Stay healthy and strong so getting out of a chair doesn't become an issue.
so true, im not old by any means but since i sit at a desk a lot i figured it would be good to learn if there was a better way to enter exit your chair. I also HAVE to comment how wholesome these two guys seem. it really feels like their two best friends just joking with each other, but also giving some good info. great way to keep people engaged in a video. i hope the two that made this video know that i appreciated it.
I'm the survivor of a mini stroke and a couple of micro strokes. I'm weak and unbalanced enough to have some chairs that I avoid completely and some i can manage when i turn sideways or move the chair near anouther chair or counter. I loved All In the Family. When I was in DC I saw the very chairs on display in the Smithsonian along with Fonzie's jacket and an authentic pair of the infamous Ruby Slippers. I could walk well in those days. If any of you ever have the chance to visit the Smithsonian (sp) do it. I would even go as far as saying you should make it a point to go there sometime in your life. The rest of DC was pretty memorable too.,
"All in the Family" Edith, Mike, Gloria. Loved that show! Love the crocheted covers too! Good hints. I try not to sit in a chair without arms. If I don't have a Choice I sit next to a table or a counter to have something to put my hand on. If all else fails I use my cane. Never would have thought to turn and use the back of the chair. Can you show some hints on getting up off the floor? If I fall I have trouble getting up. I usually have to crawl to where there is a chair and put a pillow under my knees. Pull myself up. any hints on getting up without a chair to pull up with. I wear Allard blue rocker braces and I am so afraid I will break them trying to get up. Thanks!
You guys are great. Your videos are so helpful and you explain clearly in detail so that it is easy to understand what you mean. Now. If you would not be so chatty at beginning of the videos and get right to it it would be helpful. People don't want to watch videos like this for minutes.
this is good I had a stroke and I have a hard time getting out of a chair thanks I needed this

Do you have a video of how to get out of a outdoor hanging lounge chair?
I AM STUCK....CAN'T GET UP!!! HELP
At the assisted living I worked for, we called those recliners "granny launchers". Accurate name!!
