What I really like about this, is after alot of these awesome shots, opposition players and caddies are just as happy to see such awesomeness. Fantastic.
What’s pretty crazy is that he’s probably player of the decade and underperformed quite drastically below his potential. I truly believe Rory was golfs first shot to have another Tiger Woods.
It’s absolutely the best shot on this list. The others are nice but only on here because they luckily holed in. Tiger’s shot was absolutely mind blowing
Best shot I ever saw was at an LPGA event. Couldn't tell you her name, had a big Texas flag on her bag. She had hit it long past the elavated green, and up against the stands. She takes a driver, punches it in to the burn, it pops up, lands on the green and rolls within a foot. Great shot
Rickies WFC win for his first is so underrated. He beat the defending US open champion and world #1 and the dude that was a member at Quail Hollow and would win the US open that same year...Webb Simpson.
So I am relatively new to golf still, the very first clip with tiger woods, why did he curve his club like that at the end? I’m assuming it was to get the ball to curve more but 🤷🏼♂️
Why feature the best shot first? It can only go downhill from there. I remember seeing that shot of Tiger live on TV. Best shot I have ever seen. Ever. That amount of sidespin is unreal.
Still waiting for someone to say "What about the shot by (insert golfer here) in the (Insert major championship here)?" even though it's in the title 😅
Still waiting for someone to way "what about the shot by (insert golfer here) in the (insert major championship here)?" even though it's in the title 😅
Is Fowler's gap wedge shot (#17) really one of the best of the decade? He sticks it close and makes a birdie putt, sure it's to win the tournament but I'm sure there's a better shot out there somewhere that could've replaced that one. Other than that a really good list
Americans are obsessed with the idea of "clutch" play. So if this shot was anywhere else on the course, or even the same hole the round before, it would be nowhere near this list.
@@cavspunk08 if Tiger hit that ace like Byrd then it is remembered as the greatest shot in the history of televised golf and just behind Gene Sarazan's albatross in the all time ever shots
Ryan Hooks well tigers chip in on 16 at Augusta is the greatest shot in the history of golf and his put on the 72nd in the us open is the second anyway. Then if gene is lucky his shot would be next
Aren't double eagles the most rare shot in golf? Shouldn't they be a bit higher in the list here. I mean sure Rory's hole out was important to the win but it wasn't any more impressive than the hold in ones and double eagles.
There's a lot of luck involved in shots that long. Yes, skill is required to be able to hit it close, but lots of luck to actually hole it. I feel like long putts, pitches, chips and shorter shots from sand, water, etc really show skill. I guess if you're ranking them, it depends on what you think is most impressive.
#25 - full iron shot out of a bunker, cut around trees , hits green and spins side and back to within a few feet, a display of amazing skill, imagination and artistry - vs- #6 a bog standard bunker shot that was over hit and may well have got wet if it hadn't luckily hit the pin and drop in. Amazing ability vs sheer luck....... Who the feck compiled this list????
I guess the timing of the shot makes it great because tigers shot was amazing but jordan speith shot mattered more because that was to get into a playoff(which he won).
No way a shot through the trees that by happenstance lands on the green should ever rank higher than an albatross, let alone two albatrosses, even if the successive putt results in the win. And aces are so much more common that albies, which further makes those 3-under shots so much more impressive. Sand hole-outs are also a dime a dozen. Also, I don’t care how much is on the line, an improbable putt should never outrank an albatross. That check out of that water shot was spectacular (still doesn’t beat an albie, like many of the other “better” rankings). I remember that DJ drive. Man that was insane.
I make these shots all the time but I never win because my alarm clock goes off before the 18th.
lol
🤣🤣🤣
I did the same but turned off my xbox
Respect for making Jarrod Lyles clip just a bit longer even though its in 21st place.

I was thinking exactly the same thing.
Could be a compilation of the most awkward high fives of the decade 😂
i would like to know your criteria for an awkward highfive
The definition of an awkward high five is Tiger Woods with his former caddie Steve Williams...nearly every one of them.
If i was a golf pro no way would i ever high five anybody under any circumstances
LOL they don't do high fives very well for sure.
ruclips.net/video/Z65SZtxS0qc/видео.html
Rorys hole out, in that moment, is the greatest shot ever. I remember watching live.
The only shot I would say would be better is Bubba's shot from when he won the Masters.
Dude at 6:56 went from 35 to 55 real fast
it looks like when they swap out the actor for the stunt person
LMFAO

Can we just take a moment to appreciate rickie’s stache from 2012

He must be good mojo. Like tension easer and good bants.
Jarrod Lyle was literally larger than life in more ways than one rip big fella
P.m.
This compilation is really good. Hope you'll release best of the shots of the decade in major tournaments soon!
Adam Stevermer They don’t have rights to majors, Usga owns us open, PGA (not PGA tour) owns Pga championship etc.
Eagle to get into playoff, then wins the playoff. Player of the decade, shot of the decade. Rory McIlroy

Seth Gremmert I’m assuming it’s easy to play with Rickie since he’s such a chill dude. Good vibes from the man in orange.

Shouldn't Lowry's finish (3:40) be titled 2015 WGC Bridgestone Invitational? It was prior to the name change.
#25 is the real #1. Defo the hardest shot to pull off.
Got to agree, how they rate holing a long putt or a lucky bunker shot over that, I'll never know.
Great selection, although I missed Brian Harman's two aces in one round.
Maybe not the hardest but Kuchar second shot had a personality of itself, that’s why it dropped amazing talent wish you the best

because the pga tour doesn’t own the majors like the masters, the open, the us open, and the pga championship.

Walter White But not by much
Ed Dixon if rory had Spieth’s putting
Nobody is the next anybody

Because it occurred in a sudden-death playoff
The order seems extremely random because the fact of the matter is the two tiger shots are probably the two best shots for degree of difficulty.
