I had a really good curve ball in high school. Catcher absolutely hated me, but it was my out pitch. Would come out looking like a fast ball and just dive straight into the earth. Problem was when i had to use it to get in the zone and it would hang.

Wait so you throw your slider with your cutter grip now or do you still use the 2 seam grip with your slider ?
The cut fastball is also a great pitch. I learned it in the minors. You hold it like the slider (which I had a very good one) but you lift your thump tip off the ball and put the bone of your middle of your thumb on a seam. This will allow you to throw it like a fastball and it will break very late, hard, and down.
