For everyone complaining that Jarren Duran isn't on the list, this isn't Mark's opinion, this is the statcast leaderboard on Baseball Savant. And by the way, Jarren Duran ranks 21st on the list with a sprint speed of 29.5 feet per second.
Funny how some people look faster than they actually are, and some people look slower. It probably has something to do with how fast they pump their arms, or something like that, because it's pretty crazy to compare your own perception to actual data.
@@CLaPo7 that's not necessarily pure speed though, a lot of that is just aggression and baserunning ability. And he's definitely very fast, nobody is denying that, 21st is probably separated from 10th by a fraction of a second if you really broke it down.

Elly de la Cruz is the fastest, but, seriously, his overall game is overrated. I expect to get some bashing for saying that, but in the long run I'll be proven right. Btw, Cedric Mullins belongs on this list...easily!
