i'm in college for graphic design and one of my teachers "showed us" how to do a very poorly shaped heart, I had to resort to youtube. Glad I found your video !!!
i am using ai cc 2017 and holding the alt+dragging using the pen tool on one side of the rectangle doesnt make the desired curve...it switches to the convert anchor point tool and then made and S type curve starting from the anchor point that i made with the pen tool..so when i dragged the anchor that was made by the pen tool and holding the alt key, it made and S curve with handles showing up from both ends of the new anchor...it made an S curve which isnt what i wanted
Every time I switch to the pen tool I loose my selection thus I am unable to shape the path
On windows whenever I add an anchor point and then hold alt it keeps giving me the anchor point tool... somebody please help this is super frustrating😂
Draging Not working properly
When I did it, I pressed ALT by itself and then once the line started moving, then I pressed SHIFT. It did not work for me when I pressed ALT and SHIFT from the get go. Hope that helps.
This is great, but I have a mac and the option button just pulls the square in that shape, not in the arc, what am I missing?
