Hey everyone, thanks for watching this video and sorry about the audio!! For anyone interested who hasn't yet watched our previous video that features John Scott's 2.5kg Fish and Chips Eating Challenge in Helsinki, Finland, here is the link: ruclips.net/video/sC05WfK-ZOc/видео.html
U & Katina are very fortunate to travel/eat like you both do. Well deserved…hard to watch anymore, my husband and boxer pup are struggling terribly, waiting for better days ahead….congrats to u both…
I am so sad though, the quality of finnish foods is exactly what it really is. Everything is half made before hand, even the fries aren't fresh they are frozen. Might add up the difficulty to try to "enjoy" our bad food :(
I want to say 1 thing! Randy is a die hard competitive eater and takes Pride in what he does! Same with Adam aka BearMeatsFood. Same with Katina! They take competitive eating as a privilege and not as a right like several others. Support Randy because he is the real deal!
Great video Randy! The food looked awesome. In my 30’s, I could easily do 2 of those dishes. Now, I’d be lucky to finish the chicken dish. Lol Thanks for sharing!!!
Totally amazing. I was in Canton Mississippi for a safety meeting and thought of you at the ElPatio restaurant and had a two plater fajita that I couldn’t finish. Again you are amazing
Randyyyy!! Boy oh boy does THAT look good😛! Eating a giant pork chop smothered in sauteed onions while I'm watching😋! That looked like a hard fought challenge, but you finished with a great time for all that delicious looking food! Congratulations on ANOTHER "W," Brother! On to the next! Hope you guys have an awesome day! God bless. Hi, Katina!
LOVED the 'Did You Know'...My father was in the US Army in the latter 1950's and stationed in Alaska...he said they would play softball at midnight and the light level was like 'early afternoon'....Arctic Circle, what can you do?
Best one ever I didn’t want potatoes so I went with fries ! Are fries also made out of potatoes? Am so confused 😂😂😂! Great video keep up the great work Randy just having a laugh !
Greetings from Joensuu :D Good to have you, Katina and Beard visiting us. Its a small city in comparison. Did you enjoy the pineapple lonkero atleast? :D
I watch this man eating, and eating. He rarely fails a challenge, often smashing previous times to smithereens. How does he manage to eat such behemoth amounts of nosh? I'm genuinely fascinated. 👑
@RandySantel I did notice they weren't quite as stacked but still a mountain to conquer. I've been following u a while now and both u, and Katina seem to be enjoying this "challenge tour" it shakes things up a bit, more spice ontop of spice. It's never bad moving away from the typical, time to time. I'd say good luck mate, but I think u ate that, with lucky pudding for afters. 😂 Respect. Edinburgh, Scotland. Atlas 💪🏽
Well done, sir. If I were that restaurant owner I would make The Randy Santel ATLAS Challenge a two-tier one. First, beat the 60 minute time and win the usual prize (free meal, etc). BUT, if you beat Randy's time you also win a voucher for a future dining experience with maybe up to 3 friends. Something like that. Because beating this guy's time would be at least that impressive. Cheers from Canada.
When you were about to eat the sauce i'm like what are you doing you know better than that, to put it on other things, but you immediately remembered lol
It's so funny when he flexes and then pull his shirt down immediately afterwards. You can tell he doesn't want to do it anymore but his fans want it 🤣🤣🤣
Those potatoes looked soooooo good!! Now I’m gonna go be looking up some Finnish potato dishes to make for dinner that resemble those lol. I’ve got an idea 😅
Please no one comment about scalloped potatoes or au gratin potatoes. I’m a chefy home cook. I’m wondering if there’s anything I can add seasoning or cheese wise to make it Finnish taters 😂 so those comments are welcome lol
@@niki420yuh Finnish "Savolainen tohrapottu" I have not even heard the word tohra in Finnish before (pottu means potato) but this came up after searched traditional Finnish potato recipe and there actually are a lot of them! Heat 2 teaspoons of butter in a pan. Add the pork strips and fry, turning, until they are properly colored. At the end of frying, add chopped onion. Stir until the onion has softened. Add 2 dl of water to the pan and let it simmer while you cook the potatoes. If the water evaporates too much, add desi at a time. Season with salt. While the meat is stewing, peel the potatoes and cut them into large chunks. Submerge the blocks in boiling, salted water. Cook until done. Drain the water from the cooked potatoes, but save 2dl. Add the pork and onions with their liquid to the potatoes. Add butter in lumps. Mash, i.e. break the potatoes with a spoon or a wooden fork while mixing. Don't make a mash, just leave some texture in the potatoes. Let it brew for a while, mix and taste. Add salt and boiling water if necessary. Others like dry tohrapottu, but original tohrapottu is always quite moist. So if you want, add the potatoes' cooking water. Serve lingonberry puree and grated carrot with the tohrapottu. 1 - 2pcs - Onions 400g - Pork strips 1/2tsp - Salt 2kg - Floury potatoes 50g - butter
You're setting a good example! If you're visiting the Nordics during this time of year, make sure to drink a lot of milk. Under normal circumstances, vitamin D is mainly obtained from sunlight, but while the sun barely sets during summer in the Nordics (in the northernmost part it doesn't set at all) it's the other way around in winter. Therefore, extra vitamin D is added to milk and other dairy products. This fortification is mandatory and helps us stay healthy during the cold and dark part of year.
Whatsup Randy awesome job on the challenge that food all looked amazing 💯 especially that Sirloin steak but do you not like any Steak Sauce or anything on your 🥩?
You did a great job. What was behind the drinking of the milk in your video? I have never seen any other eater ever drink milk during their video so it was very different. Congratulations on being able to have the meal named after you. The Atlas Challenge is a cool name.
@@RandySantel Four has to be the minimum. According to one article, average portion people eat from a buffet table weights 500 grams, and people usually eat more from a buffet table than they think they should have eaten. 400 grams is the recommended portion size. Randy is once again the Grandy of challenges. 👍 Haha! Well done!

Why confused? The creamy potatoes were a lot harder to eat than the fries. Lol if somebody calls fries "potatoes" I think they need therapy.
