I've heard chinese instruments such as this are hard to play so now I wonder how difficult it was to play this music, the tune and rhythm was all on point, definitely deserves more views..

@Abigail Whitall She's playing an "erhu" which is a Chinese instrument. The closest thing to this instrument in Japan is the "kokyū". The "ehru" is one of the most iconic Chinese instrument along with the "Guzheng". With Mihoyo being a Chinese company and Liyue being a representation of China, the Zhongli theme and other Liyue themes are inspired by traditional Chinese music and would be ridiculous to think this is a Japanese instrument. With the release of Inazuma, they might use some classic Japanese instruments to represent the sounds of Japan.

gettin me in the feels, the elegant version of Zhongli's theme. i can hear it while Guizhong invents new stuff or thinks of tactics for Zhongli T-T

I wouldn’t think Guizhong would ever be one to battle. She is spoken of as if she were a military advisor or a genius of some kind. She was also a very gentle-natured god, she was the person who made Rex Lapis the person he is today. Originally, Rex Lapis was a very war mongering ruler, but Guizhong changed that
@@momsaccount4033 War Mongering Ruler implies Rex Lapis actively sought out and caused wars, when this is not true before and after meeting Guizhong. At best, he was a martial god but not a conqueror or a mongering ruler... He only fought to keep his people safe as part of his "contract".
@@lilblkrose Yeah, I suppose my wording wasn’t exactly the most accurate. My point still stands though, Guizhong was more of a thinker than a fighter. Plus, Venti does describe Zhongli as “a brute” in his Zhongli voice line, and Venti is one of the few people who knew Rex Lapis when they were ascending to the role of Archon. So, to fix my original comment, Rex Lapis was a martial god who lived to protect Liyue, but then Guizhong came into his life and her gentle nature taught Rex Lapis how to love humans more. Zhongli is still a bit of a dunce today when it comes to the values of everyday people (he never held Mora in the same regard the people did since, he could always just make Mora on the spot), but it’s not like he’s an alien to human concept, and I presume Zhongli will gain more and more human traits the longer he lives with his people.
Now imagine this with the big Chinese drums and reverb it

Don't even play genshin impact but man, this is so good and enjoyable to the ears. Just started learning about this instrument and listening to the music it creates, truly an instrument in it's own type of class.
I play violin and I’ve always wanted to play this instrument. It looks so complex but it sounds so beautiful.
Playing the erhu is a bit difficult, because it has only two strings and without strings on the fingerboard.
But it relaxes me.☺️
@@mea7225 It depends on how much you can practice, but since you can play the violin I am sure it will be fast.

I grew up in the Midwest so I didn't hear Erhu music as a kid. But listening to it a lot as an adult because of this game gave me an appreciation of it. I don't know what it is, it brings me to tears. It's such a beautiful sound I get emotional every time.
It is good to be able to experience new music through games!
