Hi Jules......finished Day#5 of my Interval workout and then did this Ab workout and now for a Stretch workout and that will do it for the day.....did a 45 min walk/stairs this morning early. Most of the seated core exercise videos on RUclips show basically the same movements and techniques, but yours is the most pleasant video I came upon. Thank you for the effective core workout but also for the effort you made to make the experience enjoyable aesthetically.
I have been doing this core exercise for close to a month now. I'm not up to both legs yet for the full count but I have seen progress in being able to flutter kick for a short bit. When driving and a good song comes on the radio, I do ab crunches or Kegels when stopped at a light. In the beginning, I felt a little muscle in the center when doing abs. Thanks to these, I can now feel the whole width of my abdomen. thank you for these short but effective workouts

I was so tickled earlier, actually brought tears to my eyes- I was able to lift both legs for that one exercise! First time! After doing this exercise once a week for probably 6 weeks- I did it! Not as high as you yet, but I'll get there! I wasn't coming off the back of the chair either! Whoo hoo! I was able to do both legs doing the swimming leg kick as of last week! I did the Bee Gees chair dance afterwards - whew! That was fun! My arms were burning after that! I did my stretches too. 😁 Thank you so much. Have a good week. 🫶

Day 37! 😁 First time at trying this video and some exercises were a bit of a challenge but that's because I don't have much core strength YET! It feels quite strange to sit down to exercise but I think I'm going to know all about it tomorrow! 😄

Another great video, those leg kicks are a killer but worth it. Jules, any exercises that are good for curvature of the spine? I was born with it, and worse since I’m older.
Hi Cheryl, that is quite a specialty for exercises. Over time I plan to look into more specialized workouts but for now I am just creating ones for the general public. I think if you research specific exercises, you will likely find suggestions online and could add them into your daily routine. Or, does a specialist you see have suggestions for exercises?

We did this one this evening. It’s another good one! Oh my, near the end, when we had to try sitting back and lifting both knees up, I had to do singles. I could barely get both knees off the floor together…..that surprised me.
Oh that is definitely a very tough movement...doing one leg at a time is still very beneficial. Just really concentrate on the movement by breathing out and flexing the abs as you lower the leg.
This one tonight: I have great difficulty lifting both legs up at the same time; if I do just one leg at a time, I don’t feel it enough in my abdomen. If I hold on to the bottom of the chair, I can do better, but it still isn’t very good.
I think aim to just lift one leg if you're struggling to lift both. But, sit at the front of the chair, lean back so your upper back touches the backrest, keep your back FLAT, flex/tighten your abs and SLOWLY lift and lower one leg while concentrating on flexing the abs. You should definitely feel that in your abs. Breathe in as you lift your leg and breathe out as you lower your leg. I hope that helps!
I am so sorry to hear about the knee replacement. That is very specialized so I would recommend seeing a physiotherapist. I do have a video for knee osteoarthritis which will help strengthen the muscles around your knees (these are exercises my dad was prescribed). The more strength around the knees, the better. If you can, see a PT who can provide the best exercises for you.

I am looking move knee exercises to recover my botched knee replacement. I am in my mid 50's!!

Typically 16 ounces but it depends on the size of the water bottle.
