thanks for great little series, I enjoyed the demo and looking forward to whatever the devs do next
Update just dropped so there will be a bit more to come.
Nice to see there's a good 2-3 hrs worth in the demo so far. Will certainly be training a keen eye on this one. Thx for showing us around! 🍻
You are welcome. Thanks for watching.
Great video, in case you didn’t know, big solar panel and battery will resist to the wave. No need to remove them. A lot of time saved 🙂
Thanks a million.
You might not need to take the large solar panels down for the wave, it says they can survive extreme conditions
Yup. It works. Thanks.
There is a item in the build menu, called vehicle hanger. I took a ride in the ship, and couldn't control it well, there was a big wave coming, so that made it impossible to get it to my settlement. So I jumped out, didn't die, and the ship drifted down to the ground. After the wave, I remembered the vehicle hanger (landing pad) so I found a spot for it in my settlement, and there was a controller and a remote pattern, and combined, I put them on the edge of the top step for the hanger, and it calls the ship home....lol. So I simply clicked it, my ship parked itself on it, and I haven't tried to fly it since...
I got that in the next episode.
@@surtrplays Awesome, it surprised me when I realized that my misunderstanding of how to control the ship, and the wave almost there, and having to bail. I then landed not dying, (I was pretty high up there) and that I didn't lose the ship, either, and then finding the remote and being able to call the ship...like it was meant to happen that way. The whole incident happened just hours before I clicked on your video. Uh, I am gonna buy this game. I I love how it all felt, you didn't need a tutorial to guide you, and I really just enjoyed the game, because I play so that real world things will not worry my mind, and this game, just made the time and all my worries go away. Time just flew by, while my mind was engaged and enjoying every minute. While waiting for this game to come out, I loaded up No Man's Sky, and wow, hard game to get any help online, with pc and keyboard play, but I do now understand how to fly the ship from playing that game a few days, and though I skip across the planet like a flat rock on water, I am getting where I need to be. 🤣
Yes, tip keep enough mats on you for a habitat at this stage, just to make then tear down for air.
Definitely a life saver.
Nice, a bonus episode.
Update coming out today. I though I would get ahead of it.
Great share bro ...have a great day
Thanks, you too!
I didn't bother going to the island, pretty cool
It is pretty cool with the Uranium. I wasn't actually expecting to find it.
Yeah. The ship controls are a nightmare. I was flying like a drunk sailor. Still don't quite understand them. Not a fan of the mouse control ship.
It is a bit tricky but it gets easier.
Isnt the big batteri to change the smaller ones??
I think it is just to keep progress going at night.
@@surtrplays Ye, but it has that "Use battery" prompt. So, might be able to charge them. Or it's just to charge your suit.
every day is a good day when I watch your videos
Thanks very much.
how do you go with spaceship before getting uranium ?
You need to make battery cells and you need refined cobalt for that.
@@surtrplaysI forgot about this 😅
First
And nice video!
Nice... and thanks.
