There will be discounts for the content included in Chapter 3 in the future, but those will be temporary and tied to specific sales instead of the persistent discount available with the Chapter 3 bundle. Chapter bundles are intended to be the best value for the year's major content while they're available, but after "retiring" the bundle we can apply deeper discounts to the individual items within it during major sales. -- In other words: if you don't mind waiting then you'll be able to get this content at a cheaper price later, but if you want to pick up Legends of the Dead + Roads to Power + Wandering Nobles any time soon, then the Chapter 3 bundle is the cheapest option to get all three of them together.
They can only have so many chapters on the store before it becomes confusing. Them de listing it for the next chapter and rolling all of this into the complete bundle is fine imo
Unfortuntaly, that's exactly what PDX want. It would be ok if it lasted 3, 4 years before having a complete game but it would make PDX work much more to produce fleshed out games in a decent amount of Time and they don't want to do that : PDX work for their shareholders, not their customers.
Relatively new to Crusader Kings. But wow, CK3 is a banger. Picked up a few of the major DLCs and have a good 100+ hours down already. Thanks to the team for not producing some of the slop we see elsewhere.
Chapter 3 was so freaking awesome. I’ve been having so much fun playing admin government and going on wild adventures. One of my favorite runs to date was playing a traveling missionary who converted large swaths of the Steppe to Catholicism and then using the tiny money I had to buy mercenaries and barely win a crusade to get landed
Meanwhile my own run was exactly opposite, creating a maniot (The last surviving greek pagans, who lasted up to 1000 CE) adventurer who then proceeded to convert enough of the ERE back to Hellenism that it became the State religion, and then she bought an Estate for her descendants to try and rise to the Byzantine throne through the traditional methods of intrigue and backstabbing.
The first thing I did was make the Solominids create an admin empire and 'unite' Africa under a convinent version of Coptic Christianity and implant their secondary children as the parents of future eueopean kings and emperors. (I ended up with a white ethiopian ruler of Africa and 80% of europe and arabia was rulled by black people 👀)
Thanks paradox for getting the game running again on console. Works better then ever ! Its hard to wrap my head around all the new mechanics and features added to the game
You could add to Crusader Kings the possibility of playing with Republics and Theocracies, along with more business management of Dynasty properties and a Historical mode so that the game can follow the original history of the Middle Ages and add more Bookmakers in other more important periods such as the Fall of the Western Roman Empire or the rise of the Ottomans. You could increase the map so that we can play in other regions of the world such as Asia or the Far East. Along with the decision to Choose to finance Maritime Explorations. That's all I ask for... for now.
Please dont keep releasing a chapter per year. People review-bombed flavor packs but they bought them. Nearing 5 years after release, 3/4 of the ck3 world is still a contentless sandbox.
In a perfect world, people like you aren't allowed to purchase consoles or games and are denied internet access to avoid shitty opinions and entitled goobers complaining.
0:12 HOLD UP, have we just been watching that kings rise to power, and you guys have masked it as DLC trailers. cause i swear ive seen him in like 5 or more trailers
No one has a gun to your head, buy it or don't. You could wait and buy it in one of the many sales if you're just cheap. You have nothing to whine about.
@@AndrewLakeUK it's not the point, fanboy : PDX sells you scraps during ten years instead of working five and delivering a complete game in a decent amount of Time for a decent price. If you can't see how PDX milk their customer to satisfy their shareholders, please let me sell you things, I have great products at discount just for you.
Paradox, just make your DLCs reflect their value through the amount of content it has, and you'll have a lot of players buying it. At this rate, just give a bunch of dedicated and passionate modders, and they'll make so much more at the cost of nothing.
¿Cuando llegara a consolas? Demasiado tiempo se tardaron en implementar el capítulo ll en consolas, espero que no se tomen 2 años para sacar el capítulo 3 y para rematar el contenido se va desbloqueado cada 4 o 5 meses...

Interesting how the banners in the back have the sigil of Rome, perhaps hinting that this woman is aligned to either Byzantium or a restored Roman Empire?
They'll still be available, just not as a package bundle of strictly Chapter 3 content. They will be included in the Complete Collection bundle as an all-in-one package, or available separately.
honestly you should focus on the war system by bringing back ck2 mecanisms... i paid for all chapters in advance but i'am stoping buying any dlc from now on until i see progress in this domain.... i mean really, it's a medieval game and you can't even fight yourself in the battlefield for your lord, you can't siege cities or religious domains (why??!!!) and siege phases are lame and predictable... battles are stupid, the rally point system is ridiculous, just bring back ck2 system please... i don't even mention how being a member of the council is useless, when in ck2 you could be traveling for your lord doing the job of a chancelor or intendant, now it's just some buffs... i stopped playing your game (i have more than 1000 hours in game) because i don't feel immersed anymore. i don't know where i could express this so i hope it's not inconveniant. I love Paradox Studios games and it's a shame that such a great game don't offer me the experience of its predecessor
It's dumb of you to remove the discount. Me and thousands of other players will buy the DLC codes, somewhere where the prices aren't a joke. It's enough we pay for the base game, then you think we will pay each major update for all the core features? Is this some sort of joke for you?
im not buying anything until this game is fixed new patch wont let me do anything and ive never had problems before and im not using mods.........wtffff
You know what? The fact that you're removing Chapter III from the store is part of what made me avoid chapter III in the first place. I'm buying because I'm convinced by the quality of the product, not because there is an external pressure to buy now or lose part of the content! And looking at the reviews from Chapter III DLC, I'm glad I avoided them. Good luck, Paradox, hopefully you'll adopt some consumer friendly policies in the future.
You guys really need to get your prices under control. Somehow you guys still have fans but if you keep on this path, you're going to lose them. Rn I have to pay more than 92 dollars (after all discounts AS WELL AS THE CURRENT STEAM SALE) to get all the content, which is COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE. This game does not have enough content to be worth 92 dollars. Let alone the 144 dollars that is the price without discounts and the current steam sale.
Review your approach to Chapters’ content please. One major expansion a year is not enough. Combine events, skins, flavors into one dlc. It’s been 4 years of ck3 development already!!! And this GRAND strategy still lacks depth and most of the features are quite basic.
Crusade mechanics are awful. If you manage to make armies work as one and not as a bunch of little groups of 3k soldiers spread across holy land waiting for the 100k Muslim army defeats it, then I’ll be glad to buy whatever you’re selling
Are there no further discounts available?
