Owl creek doesn't flow into Lake DeSmet. Piney creek does. Owl creek is by the Owl Creek mountainous over by Thermopolis Wyoming. Shell creek which is very small is the only other creek that flows into the lake. Piney creek is the main supply for DeSmet. I've lived in Buffalo for 43 years.
Red Gulch dinosaur track site is 2 1/2 hours away from Buffalo. Hardly one of the 13 things to do “in“ Buffalo. I understand that you’re trying to make people aware of Buffalo, and it’s a wonderful little town… But that gives false hope when you see something like that and plan to go visit only to find out that it’s 2 1/2 hours from town. Misleading.

My town is Sweden has about the same amout of people and we only have a store, pizzeria and hairdresser. Buffalo seems like a cool place 😊
