Videos from Dimarzio are always great, I'd love to watch more new videos from Dimarzio, especially demos of pickups that are scarce on youtube. For example Norton, Fred, Phantom P90, Virtual Vintage Single Coil range, Sugar Chakra, PAF Joe, Steve Morse, Air Zone, Fortitude. Another thing which would be cool to have videos of is a demo of the dual sound and the stacked humbucker single coil wiring diagram.
I've been using them for about 20 years and I can assure you that they're the best in the market. I won't ever use any other guitar straps on my guitars.
Hey Larry DiMarzio! thx for your video! Can i use my factory Screws? The Silver Screws that comes with the Strap are longer than the Original Ones from Jackson...factory Screws/drill the hole a bit deeper/just screw it in... What should i do? Greetings from Germany!
Hi Sorry for the delay. The choice is yours, if you feel that the original screws will hold. However, I suggest doing a little drilling and be safer. Hope that helps, Larry
I just have a question in case someone can answer. I have never used this type of strap for my guitar but I don't know why I have the feeling, a kind of fear that the screw will not be tightened well and in the end the screw hole will get bigger and bigger. It is not like the other types, where the screw is tightened until it is pressed against the body. Because I bought a new guitar and I want to put the best one on it, can you confirm that this is an unfounded fear?
Hi, The Cliplock strap comes with two different size screws, use the ones that match the ones that you remove from your guitar. There should be no difficulty regarding the screw holes getting bigger. Hope that helps, Larry
@@Xerjoff87 They come with longer screws, so they pull in deeper, and even if you needed to go back to old buttons to sell it, you could put regular buttons on the DiMarzio screws, if the old screws weren't long enough anymore.
How much weight can hold those plastic clips before it gives a way and your guitar falls from about a meter high to concrete floor? 8.2lbs or more? You could use a more secure type of clip
I’ve used these since at least 1993 and have them installed on all my superstrats. Great straps with zero problems. Highly recommend.
Also recall that ad from guitar world and guitar for the practicing musician. Still have those magazines.

+1 👍 All incredible Pu's and i would like to add The PAF Pro! That pickup does every style i throw at it!
As a native Staten Islander and guitar addict, I am a DiMarzio fan forever.👍❤️🎸
The man, the myth, the legend… Rob Arnold!
I like putting the buttons back on too as a backup, so in an emergency you can still use a normal strap. You just need longer screws.

The best of locking straps !
Rob is the man!
Outstanding straps and their pickup's are not too shabby either! 🤘
Thanks, Larry
Added a like for Rob. Great tutorial!

I wish they came with screws that fit Ibanez. Using toothpicks and wood glue to make it work just isn’t my thing.
Hi, The do. There are two different sets of screws included since Ibanez uses a thicker screw. Hope that helps,
Larry
There are two size screws included with the strap and the black ones should be size correct for you Ibanez. Hope that helps,

Thank you very much, yes. It helped me a lot, I will use the same size then. Thank you!@@LarryDiMarzio
@@Xerjoff87 Glad it helped. If there are and doubts, have it installed by a competent guitar shop. All the best, Larry
I can do it by myself, my doubt was because I dont want to render useless the screw hole. Take care man@@LarryDiMarzio

We tested the clips to 100 pounds and they held fine. Hope this helps
Hi, I tested the clips at 100lbs.
@@LarryDiMarzioThanks!
They can hold one sexy gymnast as long as she doesn't have too much hair.
