    I've been living with ectopic for as long as I can remember. I'm 42 and they're just part of every day life for me.
    Having said that, there are still times where I get a bit of a fright if the flutter lasts a few seconds. I start thinking 'what if it doesn't reset this time', but it always does.
    They're a nuisance, and mostly harmless but it's worth getting your doctor to do an assessment if you get them regularly.
    The chances are you'll be fine but at least you'll have some peace of mind.

      How many do you have? I just started getting them and I have anywhere from 1-6 per minute all day. For some reason I’ll go spurts of 10-20 minutes without one and at night when I’m almost ready for bed, they almost completely go away or get so soft that I can’t or can just barely feel them. Wish I knew what I could do to go back to how I was just a week ago. I’ve been trying to supplement electrolytes but unfortunately the symptoms for low electrolytes are the same for too much, so I’m not sure if I’m doing harm or good. Yesterday, I took potassium and magnesium electrolytes in about 96oz of water with a few pinches of salt and drank it over 1 hour. My palps were gone for just over 2 hours but came back. Plus I felt like I was peeing every 5 minutes which depletes electrolytes. It’s a vicious cycle and I want to fix it!

    • @szithaanu9934
      @szithaanu9934 11 месяцев назад +4

      @Deadbolthead I could go a few hours a day without any, but then I'll get a few every few minutes.
      Mine then to be multiple ectopics that last up to 5 seconds, then a reset for another few minutes and back again.
      This could go on for a couple of hours then stop. It could be back within an hour or I might not feel anything until the I go to bed.
      I always get a few at night and they have woken me up on occasion just as I'm drifting off to sleep.
      I had my heart checked and it's structurally fine so the doctors aren't concerned.
      The most frustrating part of it though, is that I've never had an episode while being checked out and as soon as I leave the doctor's they come back.
      Just get checked out and get the peace of mind that they're not a danger to you.

      @@szithaanu9934 I had a holter monitor on while I was getting 6 per minute for 18 hours straight. But I know what you mean about them conveniently going away while at the doctor. That kind of thing makes me wonder if this is some kind of mental loop we got sucked into. Like we just got them out of nowhere, they come and go but when they’re gone, we think constantly about if it when they’ll be back. Almost like we’re manifesting them to return. But because of the terrible thoughts that we get when they ARE here, it’s impossible to not think that way. Just absolutely sucks. I hope I can figure out the cause of them and fix it some day soon. There HAS to be a reason they happen.

    Had this when I got very dehydrated and went to the ER. Scared me. They kept giving me diuretics despite being so dry. Seemed like they didn't think I was dehydrated despite my asking constantly for water. My Naturopath figured it out in 2 minutes a month after. GP yelled at me when I stopped taking it very slowly. Bob. Keen. I don't have an answer for you two. Look it up. I take K2, D3, co q 10, tocotrienols, omega 3s, and other things for heart. I do take Losartan for blood pressure. The diuretics didn't help me but it sounds like you should be on something to quell this problem. Do some research on this before you throw away your meds. There are other meds that will not make you feel awful. The diuretics for me made my dehydration worse. Don't ignore problems like this. It can be serious if left unattended.

Maybe he feels we wouldn't understand anyway but some sort of explanation is much appreciated because it's rather scary. I've learned most of what I know from Sanjay. He told me I had a "strong" heart and I had no idea what it meant until Sanjay explained it. I love his videos! They are so informative and presented in a way we can understand. Get off all those pills/drugs, and go buy some magnesium citrate or taurate, and take the supplement. Take two per day as the bottle says, and within three days or so your ectopics should be gone for good. I had huge numbers of ectopics for nearly 30 years, like you. But now they've been gone completely for over a year, thanks to the magnesium citrate. Try it!! Also magnesium works great to calm you down and help with anxiety. Research it if you want, magnesium is a necessary thing for the body.
