  • Alhamdulillah thank you so much for engaging with the video. I pray that it was insightful.
** I want to ensure that this video is not meant to bring any harm to anyone. Nor, is it a video to belittle anyone on the choices that they make. It is a video that is meant to be informative about the purpose of the hijab. A video purposed in creating a rebuttal towards the negative comments that are surrounding the hijab. **

    I’m
Christian and I just seen your first video,I used to go to a school full of middle eastern kids,I absolutely love that you guys veil! I plan on doing it but it’s a practice that isn’t practiced in America anymore (I don’t even think I have to say why) I’m looking to become orthodox Christian because it’s more worn and talked about, also the teachings are more strict than American Christianity (if we can even say that) I just love how women and girls in Islam even the men/boys carry their faith to god and respect each other for the most part,I have so much I want to say but this is all I could write😂 I hope to see more videos and you guys are so beautiful you don’t feel the need to wear a wig,or style your hair different ways every dang day (not trying to judge American women here but ya know) it just seems so peaceful also with being 17 trying to dress more modest can be a bit hard around my peers, heck its the point where I would rather date a Muslim guy (due to the kind treatment I’ve received from many surprisingly to me)

It took me a long time to understand that Allah swt does everything in our best interest, He is the best of planners after all. This was a beautiful video, thank you. Allah bless you.
I’m white British and I reverted to Islam 3 months ago. I am dressing much more modestly in my clothing but I’m really struggling to wear the hijab because of anxiety about people’s perceptions, the Islamaphobia which I had even internalised myself until I met a lot of Muslims this year and finally learnt the truth about Islam. I’m also struggling with general insecurity wearing it and not being confident about how it looks, how to tie it etc…
But more recently I’ve been feeling this tug at my heart of really wanting to wear it out… I loved how you talked about it being an act of worship and how it immediately identifies you as a Muslim. SubhanAllah 🥺
InshaAllah I will get there in time.

@@Jamilahh99every hijabi girl walked from the same path, felt same worries, had similar problems.. trust me when you choose the hard; the hard becomes easy. And Allah makes the wearing hijab easier than not wearing it. People will always be around and say stupid things. Especially if you are trying to worship Allah, they will find you in some way and say stupid things. The similar people in history, even yelled at Prophets. We learn from our Holy Qur'an that there are people like that and we have to be steadfast about it. Ignore them, say "salam!" And continue on your path.
You are worthy. That's why Allah gave you life, choosed you and gave you this blessing. This is such a blessing that can lead you to the heaven. So you are worthy, never feel unconfident about anything.
May Allah give us steadfastness, patient and may Allah forgive us for our shortcomings. Hijab is a huge thing but it is not the last thing we have to deal with. When you covered, you will be facing with diffrent tests. This is the reality of life actually. We are here to get tested. We are not perfect but inshaAllah we will never give up on trying to be our best.

ive been thinking about this alot. Its very ironic that some "progressive" areas deem themselves as progressive but struggle to see that their way of life isn't the ONLY and correct way to live life. And they actively force people to live life the way they want them to, how are u progressive but actively oppress people that choose to live differently. the hijab was never oppressive but the western world made it oppressive through their actions, politics and law.
I feel like islamphobic is rooted in racism, even though chrisitianity was founded and lives deep in the middle-east, when ppl think of Christians they think of a majority white population, but when they think of Islam , they think of a majority POC/ brown population.

They only call it oppressive because they really dont like the fsct that we have power on who is allowed to see us. It's a really weird thing to hate. Funnt how they have this passion when it comes to our clothing. Yet our entire identity as a muslim. Man or woman. Is to obey Allah. We are here to worship and obey our Creator. In EVERY way. Theough acrion, intention and practice. As simple as that. Alhamdulillah for Islam. We're here to please The Creator. Not the creation.

Hi 💕 I have a question for hijabi women.
I’m noticing it is more common now for women (non-Muslim and Muslim) to be dressing more modestly where I am from in the west and even non religious women veiling/wearing a headscarf sometimes for fashion but also modesty or warmth.
I know that it is tradition in religions other than Islam to wear a hair covering and dress modestly. However I think the headscarf in the west is associated with Islam mainly for good and bad reasons.
Is it strange for you to see non Muslim women wear a hijab-like headscarf in western countries? Is it appropriation?
I find the hijab beautiful visually and for the meaning behind it and for spiritual and safety reasons feel inspired to cover my hair.
I also think this trend is growing because the world is maybe becoming less safe for women because everything is so anonymous and there’s a lack of community so it can be really scary for men to notice you on the street imo.
    Thoughts? 💕

I absolutely do not see a problem with it, I find a beautiful than more women want to embrace modesty or the hijab as a non-Muslim.💓 Sometimes it may even be God guiding their hearts to it.
There’s a beautiful message behind covering like you said, I think more people are just becoming more privy to the concept of it. I find it to be a beautiful shift☺️ God only ordains us to do something that are for our own benefit.
I think it’s wonderful that you want to start covering your hair, it is truly a spiritual connection when you do it for God! Thank you so much for reaching out sis💓

I think your choice to wear a hijab... to live hijab to connect with your higher power is absolutely beautiful. I believe the idea of hijab as oppression comes from the very real lived experience of those who live in countries that force women to wear the hijab under threat of beatings or jail. Those women are forced and that is oppressive. The reality is that as an American..it IS beautiful...because it is a CHOICE.

Sis, I have a question for you about instilling a deep love of Allah. I have young nieces, and I am praying Allah guides them to hijab. They say all the time they will start in middle school, which is relieving because I started at 30. How can I help instill that love? What topics do you feel I should bring up continually?

Salam sister! ❤️ I believe leading by example is very impactful, especially for young girls. I’m speaking from my personal experience; If I saw more young girls/women around me wearing it and embracing it I would’ve probably wore mine sooner. So maybe trips to the Masjid as much as your able. Explain to them why you wear yours and what it represents, be patient, gentle but consistent!
Also reminding them how beautiful they are when you do see them wearing it. Maybe even gifting them beautiful scarves you all can try on together, if you are able. Just remember Allah is the only one with the power to reach someone’s heart in that way. Dua is very powerful, I’ll make Dua for your nieces as well☺️ May Allah grant you all ease
