I made this blueberry jam exactly as mentioned in this video and my son said it is the best I have ever made it taste store bought only better. Thank you again Joy of baking. xoxo
Samantha Estelle Samantha you’re so blessed to have blueberry blushes I wish I lived near you. I’d be buying them from you all the time. I love blueberries.
I use to watch your show when I was growing up and I absolutely loved it. Now I have my own children and I am grateful for the blueberry jam recipe it was excellent i will always make it like this from now on . xoxo
Fixed this and so good placed on a brie cheese before baking. Meanwhile fixed butter, brown sugar, maple syrup sauce on stove top then added toasted pecans to sauce and poured it over the brie cheese. Served with pear slices, apple slices, gingersnap cookies and crackers. It was beyond delicious.
Made this morning with one cup of frozen berries and two cups of fresh berries... and the minimum proportions of water, lemon juice and sugar. It was great. It's well worth a try guys.Fast, easy, and delicious.... and as a bonus it would be SUPER inexpensive ( compared to real maple syrup) if you make it with the nice sized bag of frozen blueberries that you can get for only $1 at the Dollar Tree.
I used to work in Nursing home's. And a quick easy way to thicken any food or drink is called "Thickener" You can thicken anything from Nectar thick to Honey to Pudding thick and Beyond I imagine. This is made for people with Swallowing Problems. However you can buy it relatively cheap on ebay and or Amazon etc etc.
Yay first comment!! I used to live in Atlanta, and now I'm going to school in Vancouver (UBC), so I really feel close to you! Love your baking videos, Stephanie!
tost tostaki hahah. I’m here in the present with you and wondering the same thing. I have so many blueberries I don’t know what to do with them. So I’m freezing some, making jam and think I’ll do some syrup.

Stephanie: I try not to eat white sugar, can you suggest a sweetner that won't lose the sweet flavor? I'm looking for a great blueberry sauce to add to my homemade yogurt. Neat site, thanks for sharing your talent.
Marc Thibodeau I'm sure you could try stevia or something of that sort. Even sugar in the raw would probably work or brown sugar. Whatever you're comfortable with
I bought milk maid blueberry filling online it's bland in taste can I modify it by adding some of these Ingredients. If yes please let me know what all ingredients can I add and quantity. Thanks
What's with this stuff I have seen in a lot of videos, people buying and using citric acid. I watched one video of what I think was a polish woman making her blueberry syrup, but she put citric acid in hers. I just don't see that as natural.
@@ginapocan Citric acid is a weak organic acid that has the chemical formula C ₆H ₈O ₇. It occurs naturally in citrus fruits. In biochemistry, it is an intermediate in the citric acid cycle, which occurs in the metabolism of all aerobic organisms.
Has anyone tried freezing this? It looks delicious! Am thinking of using it for a sauce with a wedding cake, but would like to make it in advance and freeze it. Would appreciate hearing from anyone who has tried this.
Hi again Stephanie! Question: is it the same procedure if I use strawberries instead of blueberries? I would like to use this as a topping for mini cheesecakes. :)
I’ve tried the recipe for the 5th time now and it is DELICIOUS!! Thank you so much!
Edit: 7th time😍 super delicious

Hello I would like to make this sauce with cherries:) is it the same amount of cherries if you're adding blueberry to your sauce?
My bio is on my website under about us.

Stephanie: I try not to eat white sugar, can you suggest a sweetner that won't lose the sweet flavor? I'm looking for a great blueberry sauce to add to my homemade yogurt. Neat site, thanks for sharing your talent.
Just curious why don't u eat white sugar?
Oh and i am not sure but i think honey would work.
BakingChow many people don't eat white processed sugar.
Marc Thibodeau I'm sure you could try stevia or something of that sort. Even sugar in the raw would probably work or brown sugar. Whatever you're comfortable with

Thanks
I’ve never used that filling so I really couldn’t comment.
Ok I bought 250gms of blueberries to make it as per your receipe, so should I make the ingredients half if it's 250gms??
Thank you very much 🙏🙏
Another question: Does this method work with all fruit, generally? Like with apples, black berries, cherries, raspberries and so on?
Gina Pocan Yes, generally speaking you could use this method with other fruits.
What's with this stuff I have seen in a lot of videos, people buying and using citric acid. I watched one video of what I think was a polish woman making her blueberry syrup, but she put citric acid in hers. I just don't see that as natural.
