I love that you showed these wraps, especially the ones so you can cover the whole head! I have severe alopecia & scarves are so much better than trying to wear a wig. Thank you so much ❤
Hi - this is fantastic, so many great styles, but pretty please HOW do you get the "basic headband" to stay on without hair grips (bobby pins)? I usually use larger scarves (36x36) but within 5 minutes they're just slipping? I do have fine hair, I love this style but it's verging on the impractical (which is sort of against the point of it!)? Also could you show us some "classic" styles, like over the head tied at the front and the "Grace Kelly"? I just know you would nail those without looking like you were off to pick vegetables, which is mostly what I look like when I try them! Jxxx
Hi Jasmine! I wonder if maybe the scarf you're using as a headband is satin. Satin slips off of my head almost immediately as a headband. Also it could be that the scarf is too big and heavy for your fine hair. Try a small, very lightweight one like the first one I used. Sounds like you could also use a bobby pin or two right behind the ear that clasps under the hair and over the headband. What do you think? I'd like to try those styles you mentioned. Thanks for the suggestion!
Love the looks Diana! I use a very short piece of thin fashion/clothes tape on my forehead to keep slippery scarves in place and it works a treat! Obviously it needs to stick to skin and not hair but it's great for turban-ish looks. Just don't forget to take the tape off your forehead when you remove the scarf.... Don't ask me how I know!!! 😉😂
@@unblahyourself a whole afternoon at the pub with a piece of tape on my forehead and friends having a secret giggle at my expense! 😂😳 I was miffed at the time but looking back on it now I think "good times"! 😁
Great video, could you show classic headscarf with a knot at the front of the neck, like e.g. Audrey Hepburn, and with what to style such tied scarves? 🙂
Fabulous ways with scarfs .. Thankyou ! I also saw in one of your video's you had a slim sort of scarf around your neck and loved the look so was it just tied at the back ..Thankyou in advance
Are you going to sell chiffon silk scarves? Are you going to sell oblong scarves? I need your red floral square scarf! It's my fave you use all the time.
It's sometimes hard to tell the difference once you get into a more satin kind of weave but my favorite way of telling is the "crush test" where you crunch up the fabric and hold it in your hand for 30 seconds to a minute and when you let go, if it has wrinkles it might be silk, and if it doesn't it's probably not. Also silk has a bit of a glow about it.
71 My eyebrows are mostly white and thick, almost bushy. Think Larry Hagman as the judge in ORLEANS! So I guess I need to do some damage control (or have it done since it’s hard for me to see! ) Then darken them with brow stuff, but not too dark, still a little grayish. All of these scarf hacks are beautiful! I can’t wait to get out and strut all of these styles. 🧕
You look adorable in those
Thank youuuuuuu!❤
Love the turban!😊
Thanks for the pretty ideas.
😁😄😃😀
You are welcome!

This was very practical and inspiring. I always wondered how people achieved these very feminine looks.
This is so relaxing to watch even if you never wear a scarf. I love the non editing en no music vibe
That's nice to hear! Thank you!
Great timing!😍 I just bought a beautiful vintage silk scarf from the south of France
Wow I'm dying to see your scarf! 😍
@@unblahyourself I sent it on Insta😀
I always admired Valerie Harper's headscarves
Great video! Makes me want to add to my scarf collection!

Great tip! People often ask me about that. I've never used fashion tape before!
But how do you know???

The silk that is more textured is called crepe silk.
You look great in a headscarf. I would look like Little Edie (Grey Gardens).
Nah, just add red lipstick! Glamour!
Just discovered this channel and I am loving it! 😍

Yes, I am going to eventually make all sorts of scarves and sizes. I'm only on the beginning of my journey!
Thanks!
Thank you so much Margo! You really brightened my day!!😘
But when thrifting how can you tell if the scarf is really silk?

I tried one and discovered I really need eyebrows to make these looks work. 😂
Hey me too! Drawing them on is a daily activity for me!

I can't wear wool hats by themselves because they itch on me. Wearing a scarf under the hat is a great solution. Thank you
💯
Do you sleep with a scarf on your head to keep your hair protected?
No I'm kind of an animal when I sleep. Face first in the pillow, no hair protection. I'm a beast.
