I love these fun and creative ideas. There’s only so many times that I can stand hearing the phrases ‘crisp white shirt’ and ‘timeless elegance’ and ‘upgrade your look with a blazer’. This is much better. I do like white shirts and blazers - I just don’t like them as a uniform for people who fear inelegance.
The Halloween selections at GW have some fabulous vintage pieces. Found a 1940 Scaparelli jacket with fabulous shocking pink lining..and handmade beaded buttons. $1 for that old thing.
I don't see anyone my age wearing band t's but I love the idea of wearing one like my KISS Destroyer shirt with a lace or tulle skirt. I'm also a scarf wearer so maybe a black & white print one with silver threads running through it to tie it all together & it's fringey so I'll let those hang loose. Oh can't forget some earrings or a pile of bracelets or a handful of rings

Diana, are the long flaps on the black coat, an attached wrap neck scarf? This was fun some I really loved. The oriental women are good at mixing patterns.

You can throw in layer after layer, ornament after ornament, jewellery, belts throws whatever. Now if I try that they wear me. They climb all over me and obliterate me. I look hilarious, over done and desperate! I’m sobbing now

Love this! I don’t want to look like everyone else. I have the confidence to dress creatively. Confidence and creativity are extremely attractive. I’m not that every-hair-in-place type gal. I sorta feel bad for those who have to look to social media for direction on how to dress themselves. There’s no wrong or right. Just be yourself, wear what you love (and is comfortable), and let none of us judge one another. Also, I DO go to the pumpkin patch/apple orchard, but I go for the donuts and wine tasting 😊
