HE had COVID and His YARD was getting OUT OF CONTROL so We MOWED it for FREE!

- We HAD to stop when we saw this one! This gentleman was stuck inside with Covid while his Yard kept on growing! Even the neighbor stopped by when he saw us out there to let us know how shocked he was that we were gonna be able to make that yard look normal again. This was a fun job, I had my good buddy Joe working hard with me and it was such a Blessing to the Homeowner and the neighbors! Thanks for watching we hope you enjoy! I haven't mowed a lawn in 1992. Because I had to move in an apartment so I could take care of my mother till she passed away in 2005. Sometimes I miss mowing a lawn but can't due to my declining health. I love the smell of a freshly mowed lawn. Great job y'all did.

Great transformation on the property. There must have been about 1 acre of grass, that looked like a huge lot. Hopefully that homeowner can enjoy the chairs and table in the backyard, with all the grass nicely mowed. Great shoutout to Joe for pushing that mower along that bank without the Self Propel working. After seeing the video you did helping your brother with his lawn and that your family struggled with addiction, it is so awesome to see you and your family being such a blessing to those in need.

While this was such a blessing to this gentleman, who was sick and under the weather, I was struck by the neighbor whom came over and commented that he was "shocked" that you were tackling that grass. It seems that this gentleman's yard was growing for a long time. I know if I were that gentleman's neighbor, I would have knocked on his door and inquired to help long before the yard got out of hand. It would have been a neighborly thing to do. It's obvious this man was having some sort of trouble maintaining his property and I'm thinking the neighbor owns a lawn tracker to mow his own lawn. I would have offered to mow the gentleman's lawn way before it got to that state. Just saying...
Yeah totally, the neighbor was quite older and didn’t have any equipment himself. He said his nephew usually mows for hkm
If you can understand how this person's yard got into this state ...then you can certainly understand there could be reasons why the neighbor can't manage their yard AND their neighbors yard.
@@susansmith493 @Susan Smith I'm elderly and I mow my neighbor's lawn all the time. Not everyone is disabled. From the looks of the next door neighbor's lawn, he is able to maintain it. Most folks in rural America (this lot isn't in suburbia) don't have lawn services to mow their acres of lawn. Most have their own ride on lawn tractors. How much more effort would it have been for the neighbor to mow the person's lawn before it got way overgrown? That's what I'm saying. Neighbors helping neighbors. Geez. Lighten up.

Your "I'm elderly and mow two properties" would never be directed at the person who doesn't take care of their own property BUT is doled out quite liberally at the neighbor for not mowing two. :)

Funny story, The belt that runs the wheels on the self propel actually snapped right before this. So it is a very nice self-propelled mower but it wasn’t working for this job. We didn’t have time to fix it before hand so I’ll be fixing it this week. I told Joe we could weed eat whatever he couldn’t get but he pushed through!
