Espectacular 😮 camioneta, el modelo más lindo que hizo ram. Es el sueño de mi vida esta camioneta. Excelente 👌 felicitaciones !!!
Didn't even know wireless cab lights existed. Your truck is legit the cleanest all around 3rd gen cummins I've ever seen!
I had no clue either until I decided to google it one day and found these!
Lol
I was in love with these.. until you said $400
There’s a sucker born everyday
You can save some money if you drill the 15 holes yourself. But to hire it done will cost even more. But mostly i just dont want holes in my roof. And when i trade they will come with me to my next rig. Good things are not cheap and cheap things are not good.

Just by some outdoors solar lights and mount them to your roof. They won't be BT and they'll always be on at night, but they're only like $25
Wait a few months some chinese manufacturer will sell it for 30$ on amazon🤣
I’ve had them on my 07 for a year. They are holding up well and work great. A little pricey, but worth it for the look, function and ease of install.
The work put into your videos is amazing.
Thank you for a great video! Discovering this saved me lots of anxiety and time consuming drilling and wiring.
Please continue videos on new and innovative things coming out. Always appreciate the work you do. I must be old, I’m seeing a lot of diesels running around with white lights now and honestly just don’t think it looks good. I love the amber look. I have a 4th gen 3500 6.7 dually so they came with them, but I do see a need for these for older trucks that don’t have them. Thanks for these videos man, keep em coming!
I really appreciate it! Cab Over America actually saw this video and just sent me their updated lights so I’ll be reviewing those shortly. The fixed the whole out of sync issue by having the lights just be a standard on and off which is awesome!
I also have an 06 . yours looks fantastic !! Love the wheels . these lights might just be the ticket.
Thank you for showing me these! I literally hate the look of an amber construction warning bar and didn’t want to drill into my cab.
Easily worth $400. This is 2022
Remote. No drilling of holes. No leaks. No rust. I’ll be seeking them.
Get what you pay for is absolutely correct. Keep up great videos
I agree with you brother. I bought these and was super excited. I charged them for 48 hours as recommended, installed them with ease and worked perfectly fine for a week. (Keep in mind I only drive my truck on weekends.) on the second week one started glitching and would not stay on so they sent another replacement. The new replacement also had the issue. Now I have requested another or money back and they won’t budge. It’s worth it until they stop working and you get no support from the company.
Your videos are great man keep doing your thing
i just bought an 05 commin rail 4x4, i love your set up.
Awesome truck and 100% motivation. Drive safe and take care.
Thanks man!!!! Definitely doing this to my truck!!!!!
Great looking truck. Simple and clean👍
You definitely sold me, getting these this week!
I am definitely going to be putting these on my 1st gen crew cab! I have always wanted cab lights but didn't want to drill my cab and risk leaks. Awesome video!
Yeah they have some down sides but no drilling is 👌
What down sides have you encountered? @@JustDiesels
Sick truck brother! New subscriber btw keep it up!
Great content bro! Your channel is so underrated
Much appreciated!!
This is what I want for Christmas cheers
Thanks so much for this video!! I’ve been doing a lot of research on getting can lights on my truck 🛻 lots of pros and cons!! The install alone is more than 400 bucks plus the lights and wiring! Do it yourself please the seal and wiring has to be perfect on each light 💡 it’s worth the piece of mind! Plus you can move them from truck to truck 🛻 Winning 🏆
Badass. I'll definitely get some 👍. Thanks for the video
This makes me so happy!!
This is the first I have seen of these lights. I really like the idea and no holes, no wiring, solar charging, and easy installation are super big pluses. That being said, I'm not a fan of the screw right dead center in the front of the lens. I think a front hinge clip rear screw arrangement or sliding the lens into channels into grooves in the gasket secured with a rear screw arrangement could have made a more aesthetically pleasing design. Maybe those will come in a second generation design. I'm still interested and will have to look more into these.
What a great idea, I think the holes is what detours most people from getting cab lights. Keep us posted on how they hold up. And I agree if you could wire them into a switch they would be perfect.
Phil Posada I could see that being an easy add on feature! Fingers crossed.
A wireless transmitter plugged in under your dash waiting for the lights to go on. But at $400 now that would raise the price to at least $600.
Yeah I am not a fan drilling through the roof of my truck. Better to spend a little more money and avoid that. Looking into these for my Frankenstein truck. 2006 Dodge Ram mega cab 1500, 2WD, on a 2500 frame
I like the idea of no drilling, but I park in my garage and do not want to hang a light fixture 1" away from the truck and the out of sync bothers me too as does the fact that you have to turn them on going thru the entire sequence.
Thanks for sharing, looks great!
Looks great! Pretty nifty product, much better than the stress of drilling holes in a nice truck for sure.
I have drilled the roof of my 1999 F-350 power stroke and it's not a great feeling to drill a hole into your new truck. Luckly everything worked out. I do not want to drill a hole into my new truck roof now and especially remove the headliner.
Like your truck man I have 3rd Gen nice a clean like your these lights are great idea
Lights look great!
Damn that was exactly my idea of having wireless cab lights the run on solar....I’m glad they exist now
Those are cool as hell !:) and your truck is nice bud.
Love the truck man very clean.
Genius design! Btw your truck is the nicest and best looking third gen I’ve ever seen
Going on my buy list for sure
Great video!!!
Earned yourself a sub here. Good stuff
I have a set clear tinted lenses for my f250. These lights are absolutely insane. Awesome the last year here. No complaints whatsoever!
How are they holding up now?
@@Justjackson7truck exploded
thanks for the review!
Awesome vid bro!…be ordering a set soon…Aloha 🤙🏽
These are awesome thank you for sharing would look good on my 95 Ram 2500
This is great, I wish someone made like some sort of license plate light “pass through” socket remote for this, that way when you turn on your parking lights the socket would tell the cab lights to turn on 🤔
Looks amazing!
Hefty price tag for stick on lights, but they seem interesting.
Go get real lights installed and watch how much your total is
@@jaycevessier7554 not to mention leaks

Nice job 👍🏻 I just subscribed 😃
Nice looking clean looking truck i have a 2004 dodge ram truck just as clean as yours I love my Ram truck
Just picked up a 3rd Gen Cummins yesterday. Might look into these.
Good video very informative
My 08 is a Laramie Truck with a sunroof and I never knew that would be a problem. Thanks for the review
Yep! Makes mounting a little funky!
@@JustDiesels perhaps thats why the original owner of mine didn't get the clearance lights 🤔 I'd rather have the sunroof anyways
Hey man I love your truck nicest and cleanest one I have ever seen. Thanks for the video I want those lights. My question is what tires and wheels are you running. Thanks
Gorgeous truck.
My truck was as clean as yours.... in July of 2006
Right?! I have the same rig as he does and no matter how many times I wash it, it is always dirty.
This guy must have a history of prepping cars for shows or working in a body shop. His trucks are ALWAYS clean, and that comes with knowing the tricks and trades of cleaning and detailing a vehicle.
Wow these are awesome definitely going to get them do they have coupon codes to make it a little bit cheaper I really like them did you have to bend the metal plates for the curvature of the roof they look great on your truck thanks for the video
i did my cab lights so sketchily and they should definitely leak but they haven't yet, been almost 2 years. Was looking at these a while ago but they were too pricey and only pre order. But I wouldn't want to drill into that nice of a truck either haha good choice
The perfect touch to make my 6.0 build look all that much cooler! But those “bolt heads that are captive” are called studs.
Awesome truck bro
Great video I want these. No drilling, wires.
100% yes keep them!
Awesome video thanx
Never heard of these. Gonna check them out. Don’t want to drill into my 15 Ram 3500 either. Another hard/cant find are no drill roof racks!!
Very informative vid! So would you feel comfortable running these through a car wash on a regular basis? Thanks!
I like them they look good on your truck.
That is a smokin' nice truck
Working in construction the strobe feature is a good addition but with them falling out of sync just sounds like a pain thanks for the video!
Ok this is legendary. Wireless AND solar!?!?
@@Athestar04 why?
@@fyrelore5365 because if you don't have sun it kinda useless. With solar/wind you can't really store energy that long and I assuming battery they use isn't going be able to hold it for long

Nice video. What did you do for better lighting on your headlights?
Hello thanks for your video. Man that is a clean truck. I just pick up a 2008 and I'm looking for ways to customize it a bit I'm wondering about your wheels and tires they don't look like they stick out too far I like that also looks like your truck sits level i like that. How come you have the cab wrapped?? Thanks for your advice Mike
debating buying these, as for the remotes, you can wire it into a switched ingition source with a diode or voltage reducer inline. See what power is going on the remotes circuit board and reduce accordingly. they look sharp!
Yeah but it would cycle modes everytime you turn them on and off
Great video. Interesting product. I like your wheels and tires, what's the size of the setup?
so clean
Great video, I ended up learning about an awesome accessory that I didn't even know existed, which I too want. Just one thought: will the DOT get on out butts if we don't properly space the lights in accordance to DOT rules ... one each on the outter edges with three grouped more tightly together in the center ... many thanks in advance!
Yes and no. DOT wont really care unless you are required to have a DOT inspection under CMV rules. And these lights are actually for identification of vehicle type. That's why duallies come factory with them.
Could make a emitter that ties into the ignition. One the ignition turns on then it emits a signal for the cab lights to come on/stay on. Once the ignition is turned off so is the emoter for the cab lights.
These are sickkk
I have a 1st Gen crew cab Cummins truck with the OEM style cab lights that I merely black RTV sealed against the bases, and have had no leaks ever. Haven't had a bulb go out up there since I installed them in 2002! I also can tell when they're on from inside the cab by their reflection off the ram head hood ornament, LOL! I use my truck for a transport business, and can tell you that the strobe function would be perfect for those of us who haul big, and want that caution strobe light in the front while hauling, like the semi's have. That's my guess why they incorporated that function. Great looking product though!
That makes total sense, I just wish the strobe function was a separate button! Sounds like you have an awesome truck too.
@@JustDiesels Thank you! I saw your other video with the white 1st Gen you scored, and she's a beauty! Seeing as you're a TDR member you may have seen my black crew cab on there over the years. I'm ssayegh on that site. RSchwarzli and I have been buddies on there for many years, and he built a kickass crew cab. We took notes from each other back before crew cabs became cool, LOL!!
Looks like they took your advice on the on/off only! I’ll be ordering me a set.
Yes the just sent me the updated lights actually so I’ll be doing a review on those!
So they don't offer the strobe option anymore just an on and off situation
Looks good man didn't know they made these either. How have they held up any issues
By any chance do you still own them? Have they held up? Have you had to remove them? Did they damage paint at all?
i'm def gonna order these and i think i'll keep a brake mirror in my door pocket so i can extend it out from my window and check my lights from the drivers seat. great review bro!
Don’t do it! I’m not kidding, I’ve had nothing but problems with these. You can buy the OE and have them installed professionally cheaper and without the problems.
@@markjkiser until your roof leaks....
I’d rather worry about my roof leaking and do routine maintenance to make sure that wouldn’t happen than spend over $400.00 for lights that don’t work at all.
Mine work fine...enjoy your electrical problems from a roof leak bro. Lol
And you enjoy hanging out the window like a dog checking to see if your crap lights are still charged and on, classy! lmao
I used a set from dodge $120 from the dealer with a stencil. Step drill bit and some silicone never had a leak. Tapped right in to the factory harness scary but easy.

Great review, thank you. Had a thought, not sure if you had tried...do you have garage door open buttons in your cab? If so, wouldn't it be possible to sync your fob buttons to those GDO buttons just like you would in any other radio frequency application?
Doesn't solve your issue with syncing to your head lights, but it would remove the additional fob from the equation.
My truck is too old to have that, but I don’t think it would work. I do think you could somehow wire in the remote transmitter though, but my wiring skills aren’t advanced enough to make that happen.
yes dude I been bugging cab over america forever now to go with a single mode!
They reached out to me after seeing this and said it’s happening and they’ll send me the new version to make a video on. 👍
@@JustDiesels Awesome I Purchased one of their original sets I think i might have been one of the first customers and God I hate syncing those lights. They are cool. However I did trade my vehicle for another and they sent me new plates. So customer support is really good. I also just ordered new smoked lenses from them. Hope new lights are same size. Also hope the new ON mode is just their low setting.
@@JustDiesels By the way order the new set
@@JustDiesels I was messaging them earlier this week and just ordered today. They stated now they're only on and off. No different modes.
I want these on my ford reeee
I put oem ones on my obs, smoked oem style. Drilling worked well for me, they where like $34, and they work as long as the truck itself actually has batteries. Kinda neat, I do think wired LED’s would be better myself, they are done and just work.

I've got a 69 crew cab F-250 and have been looking for a cab light, thanks
Awesome vids man, love em. A thought... To get them to turn on with your running lights, you can hard wire up a relay triggered from your factory headlight switch, that activates an RF module that you program using the signal from the remote that came with the lights. They make universal kits like that for programming garage doors and automating other items. I've done this before, doubt it would take that much to get one to talk to those lights. McMaster Carr has a ton of that stuff, would be a good place to start. Good luck!
Do you think you could find a link or article referencing that? I see plenty of wireless relays on amazon, but I haven't seen it the other way around.
Working on it now using an Arduino. Just need one more part and some time testing.
Let us know when you have it figured out.@@rvaughn2687
Great video.
You could always buy a windshield sealant for wired lights for cheaper and dont have to mess with them, ever.
Uh. No. Headache from hell bro. You’re the only exception apparently
@@daleo7355 Except i'm not, semi manufacturers use gaskets for the visor lights and have since the beginning. Yet,no real issues. Coming from a CDL driver. 🙄

That’s great. I’m no longer professional driver but supervisor of 11 at this time. Our experiences say not 💯 either way but not worth risk as AFTER MARKET.
Yes factory semi. Rare issues but conversation was after market. Be safe. Many insane drivers on road.
Agreed. I wanted these lights but had a hard-wired set installed professionally. A custom shop did it for $500. Dealership wanted $1,800 😲 I told them I was born at night......but not LAST night!
Hey I have a gen 2 Dodge Ram 2500 sport, it is white and completely stock and I was wondering what you think I should do and how I should build it
Could you cover the out of sync lights with aluminum foil and resync them?
There cool and all but i want super bright lights so i bought the oe kit from the dealership drilled the 15 holes myself did all the work myself and put vleds ultrabright amber leds bulbs in and absolutely love them, super bright and come on with the park lights. But pro cons to all things, ive had no issues in a year plus since install just made sure i laid a good bead of clear silicone every where.
They take 194 right?
@charliebostwick9993 yes correct, 194 regular size, if you go 194 double height which is available they wont fit.
nice truck
They look fine... Wether or not they hold up is the key as to if they are worth it.
We’ll find out! I’ll make an update video down the road.
I think I would love those but honestly would rather have them come on when the parking/running lights came on. Would be hard to get use to having a remote to activate
Agreed!
These are awesome but expensive. If Cab Over America wants to send me a birthday present that would be nice lol!
Dig ‘Em !
Nice review.. except for the one complaint that you can't hardwire them in.. seems like a odd complaint considering you got wireless for a reason, so you don't have to drill into the roof.
Too bad the remote doesn't have indicator light to tell u wats goin on outside
Agreed!
The new lights are on off only, none of these other retarded settings
i thought you needed a 2500 or diesel to have cab over lights. i would love to have cab lights on my ram 1500 bighorn hemi. i like the look of cab lights on trucks.

Thanks, Man! I've been restoring my 2006 F-150 and didn't find out until now that these existed. I notice you posted this in 2020. How have been working for you? Are they holding up? My only thoughts about solar is the cell getting weak after a few years....
Replacing the lights for a set of 5 is only $125
@@jockalbert0935 Thanks. I came extremely close to buying a set. Even to the point of having them in my cart. But while waiting to put together a few more dollars to avoid charging them on my card, I found a custom shop that was willing to install a hardwired set for $500. I ordered a $30 set of hardwired lights and had them installed last weekend. So, for a total of $530. I have hardwired lights that look fantastic. That washes with paying $400 for the solar set and the $125. that I know for certain I will have to spend later....at least once.
