  • The Royals made the health headlines last week with King Charles opening up about his enlarged prostate procedure. Following suit is Queen Camilla’s niece who recently revealed that she suffers with endometriosis. Other celebrities who also have opened up about the condition include: Hillary Clinton, Dolly Parton and Emma Bunton. Dr Semiya joins us on the sofa to discuss how more than 1.5 million women live with this condition, however shockingly little is known about it. She’ll talk us through the symptoms, the long-term impact and what can be done to manage the condition.

why has it taken someone royal to come out for programs like this to decide to share awareness when it isn't a new thing that's just started affecting women I think awareness should have been shared way before now

She gave the wrong definition of the condition, it’s not the endometrial tissue it’s similar but not the same and doesn’t correspond to periods! I have endometriosis myself and it can cause painful periods but the pain is constant, throughout the body everyday as it’s not a reproductive illness!

I think it was there before and during pregnancy but it escalated after children with writhing pain during the period which I withstood a couple of periods like that before having laparoscopy surgery which included detaching my bowl from all of it been stuck together.
Then with the use of a Mirena inplanted to deter the incorrect bleeding that was causing the issues. 55 years old now and hoping the menapause is nearly done to avoid any more endo issues.

Why is Rylan nice on this show to people..but on Celebrity Gogglebox with his mother he is condescending and belittles his mother.? I watch it here in Australia and I think he is disrespectful but that is not to say he doesn’t love her…but he just shows a difference side of him that’s not pleasant 🇦🇺🇦🇺

Well he's called for more stop and search. So I take it he'll be in favour of his mommy getting stopped and searched.

I thought that he had a great relationship with his Mom, from my viewpoint. It's called banter. They seem very close to me.
