The only thing that was missing was a chef's hat on your head and a colorful Thanksgiving Apron over your clothes. Looked like you got a passing grade from your mom the teacher. A Janeway inspired feast like never before. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family. 🦃
Hahaha yes next cooking episode I need an apron and hat for sure!! I was impressed that she passed me😂😂 she is a very good cook! Happy Thanksgiving to you too!

As a long-time vegetarian, I was so sorry to hear you've gone over to the dark side, Erin. Ha-ha. Lots of funny moments in this one. I'm with you on the fresh green beans and that Stovetop Stuffing is not bad in a pinch (helps to add butter), but everything else, um ... glad you enjoyed it! I can just picture someone going to the bathroom and spotting the crockpot and going, "What the hell". Also, the gourd ambiance just said, "It's the holidays!" Martha Stewart would be envious. Mostly, I'm appreciative of your concern for food poisoning and glad you cooked the hell out of that bird. It achieved a nice, ugh, ashy gray color? Thanks for the fun video, Erin. Happy Thanksgiving!
Hahaha noooo i know I've gone to the dark side but honestly I NEED to come back to the light😂😂 I was so freaking lucky nobody was at the park to see my crockpot, i was already so embarrassed lol! and of course ambiance is everything during the holidays😂 Thanks for watching and happy thanksgiving!
Hahahaha your reaction to unpacking and handling the bird was so funny and relatable 😂 I haven't eaten meat for 10+ years now. But before that I absolutely hated handling and cooking meat! Just creeps me out touching dead animal flesh, with skin and bones and veins and all that viscera. Love that you even brought the Le Creuset out to make things fancy. And the can opener to make things even fancier 😋 Happy thanksgiving to all you Americans for next week. I hope you all have a wonderful day with your loved ones 🦃 Ps. Haha right?? I've only cooked meat a handful of times but it was like growing up and helping in the kitchen. Never solo as an adult lol! I didn't even get to use the can opener because i forgot about the corn lolll but filming this was actually the longest day of my life haha!! Thanks for your comment as always!!
Glad you enjoyed it! Oof it's definitely a story and one that relates to van life so maybe I'll share one day! I am hoping to make the switch back eventually though as you can see I am still pretty squeamish around meat lol
@erin_elyse Hi Erin It would be good to hear your reasons.Ive tried to be a vegetarian but when I stopped eating meat I felt really strange after a few days.Is this normal perhaps you can tell me. Kind regards Michael 💕
If you're this scared to touch raw meat, wouldn't it have been easier to use disposable kitchen gloves? Also, I'm not american but I always thought it's called stuffing because you actually stuff it inside the bird?
Ooo gloves would have been a good idea! I was mostly freaked out because I don't have running water in my van so I was worried that I hadn't washed them good enough😂 i only have like jugs of water lol! And as for the stuffing, some people stuff it in the bird, but growing up we never did! In fact, I don't think i've ever even seen someone do that in real life, just movies
Ohhhh Nooooh. Have to wash the poultry, and rub oil on it. I keep it in the bag and run water through it. My ex and I learned how to break down a chicken and alternated tasks, but neither of us washed it. I don't eat the skin, and was the only one that wasn't sick for 3 days. So Sorry Friends. In the past, we'd both washed it and found that wasteful. Never again. Both wash.. No sick friends. I'm not to the end yet but, I'm praying... fingers crossed, etc.
Definitely cheered out loud when you brought out the can opener!!😂 I always love your videos❤
Ahahah!! and I didn't even end up using it lolll! Thanks for watching💗
Yay you remembered your can opener this time 😊😊
Woot woot! For once lol😂😂 I have multiple family members now that want to get me one for christmas so I might be having a couple now haha!
