Very mellow at tip which is nice. Most tip sound captures that sound like garbage. I really need to do a cold|warm startup from 10' and do a drive by sample at 25. But also a sample in the vehicle as it's being driven. The very next day I replaced the upstream and downstream O2 sensors as I wanted clean units though the "old" ones weren't causing a any codes to be thrown. I have a Magnaflow cat with a Flowmaster 50 which my girlfriend loves. My girlfriend sold her '97 ZJ LTD to a gentleman who got his Navigator (2WD) stuck trying to launch his boat. While these ZJ's make for a far better boat launch vehicles. NP249's lack the low lock that our NP249's have, though our transfer cases usually get swapped out eventually. Once again, great lighting and coverage. Keep up the great work and thank you. :)
OH HELL YEAH, SOUNDS NICE & YOU DID IT THE RIGHT WAY BY WELDING THE PIPES TOGETHER, SCREW THOSE CLAMPS OF ANY KIND. NICE LOOKING EXHAUST ALL AROUND ESPECIALLY THE TIP, STAINLESS BABY, FREGGIN STAINLESS, HA HA.

Throw one of these on a 4.0 please! Got a flowmaster 30 series delta flow collecting dust in my garage (yeah, it's old, bought it a decade ago and never got around to putting it on, they don't even make them anymore AFAIK).
I removed the lower shock Bolt and was able to remove and install my tailpipe with no extra cutting. That kit looks sick and sounds better than that other setup imo.
You Can actually get close with a cold air intake, banks headers, high flow cat from magnaflow or jba ect.. And a flowmaster super 44 or super 10 or outlaw muffler
Christian Sulak hmmm thank you I’ll start looking into that. I’ve been to a few exhaust shops and nobody would even try to help me out and I was willing to pay.
Last year my 94 4.0 muffler broke away from the pipe (no cat). It was loud a hell. I put a cheap thrush muffler on it and did a side dump turn out that did quiet it a but but not enough to my wife’s liking. Looking at the price of a performance exhaust and the price of stock parts I went stock. I couldn’t see paying over half in pipes what I paid for the whole thing. That’s the same reason I don’t have a roof liner either. 😂😂
@@erikstrieter4233 I took my roof liner out, scraped off the fabric and hosed it down with gray primer (got a black/gray interior), other than getting fiberglass in your eyes when you drive through NJ, you'd never know it wasn't covered...
I had a flow master 44s installed in my 93 GJC and it is so much better than hearing my radiator fan sounding louder than the engine. so I had the 44 installed and now my 5.2 sounds like a V8 dodge, so cool and the muffler sounds cuts off the fan noise. won't believe how many people come up to me and asks me what kind of muffler are you running. Got to beware though, if you start it up in an enclosed garage or parking lot you're going to get some attention.... GREAT TONE...
Hey Barricade, at your convenience, will You please record the sound outside of the garage, we are not getting a true sound sample, too much bouncing off the walls... engine noise etc. Thank you sir!
Hey, I'm very happy with all of the work and videos that you where able to share with all of us 🇺🇸 😀, and of course all the U-Tube viewers.. But, did you get rid of this Jeep of yours and sell it 🤔.?..
Did you finally get a garage? I wondered why I didn't consider this with my ZJ, then I saw the price, lol. I went with magnaflow cat and flowmaster muffler. Clean install!
I still dont have a garage. I wasnt going to get this exhaust because of the price but I couldnt find no sound clips or info of anyone with this specific exhaust so curiosity get the better of me and I figured it would make great ZJ content. My wifes '97 has the Magnaflow cat with the flowmaster 44 muffler as well
To my knowledge it's a Jones Turbine Muffler JT2525 - NOT the JT2525XL which is the longer one. I LITERALLY just got done ordering my Jones JR25 turbine resonator, which I'm going to be using instead of the muffler lol. I'll tell you how bad of an idea it was when it gets here
@@bailydekker9377 I will, it gets here tomorrow, and the ol girl goes up on the lift tomorrow for some diff work. We're gonna do em both at once. Also I'm still gonna be running stock cat so I'm hoping that helps with volume and I don't have to buy the muffler instead. Like I said I'll try a video of it
quality content and straight to the point
Thank you!
I DIDN'T WATCH THE VID. YET BUT BG IS REBUILDING HIS WHOLE DAMN JEEP. LOVE THE JEEP VIDS. BG, THANKS BRO.

When he was cutting the exaust pipe, for some reason I smelt it
Looking to pick this up for my Cherokee

After a year have you got any rust on that magnaflow exhaust ??
