hi noticed one thing, your inputs on 2S > 22H can be shorted to 2S, then just tap 2, then H. Not really a big thing but I find it easier on my fingers.

Hey man I've been playing Zato since launch and I managed to get pretty okay with it.. The thing is that I just noticed you guys sneak a 2HS when the frog is bringing the opponent back to Zato in the middle of the loops.
Have you covered this specific thing in another video? I can't seem to wrap my head around how to do it exactly..

Hey just a quick question! At 3:51, I don't see how you're getting drunkard shade to come out consistently. It appears your inputing 214S right after HS, but when I do it this way it rarely comes out. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, any tips?
Also just in general, the combo at 3:51 doesn't seem very feasible because it seems like you have you input HS immediately after oppose comes out, which doesn't seem very likely to happen in a real match. What's your experience with this?
um i think ur execution is prolly off just gotta practice and yea it works in game because people attack into oppose as well as theres options for if it doesnt counter hit as well

Can you do a guide ENTIRELY on neutral?
Having trouble against a lot of rush-down mashers who's buttons beat mine because of better frame data and against people who refuse to approach but will zone with projectiles and hit 6p if I try any sort of above approach.
Just winning neutral and then converting into this stuff is my greatest trouble right now.
to be honest i havent played in a long time and i will probably wait on balance before i think about playing again
@@HardyMJ REALLY? Wow. I'm having a great time despite sol and may harshing my buzz everytime I fight them. Poor zato needs consistent ways in and out.
A few modest buffs (a few frames faster startup on oppose alone would make the zato lifestyle much more worth living) would make the experience much better or at least making it so that some of these other characters have shit that's way less "free" than it already is.
I hate having to guess 90% of the time on some characters, but the game is still pretty damn fun.
What killed it for you? The spammy S-tiers?
@@randomd00d19 its honestly just the balance game feels unbalanced to me ill try it again after a balance patch
@@HardyMJ As in we are too weak? Or maybe TOO STRONG? I personally feel like zato is 110% offense, but his offense can get snuffed out too easily before it even begins. Since I'm enjoying this game more than hating it, I'm applying the "git gud" mentality for now.
Might learn to master FD IB on every opponent's most spammed move.
FD IB into pierce or drills might become zato's secret sauce. Hopefully a balance patch will give us more to work with.

Any tips on dealing with Axl? I try oppose, shade, oppose but feel like Eddie gets hit in between all the time
5D > PRC can help, you fly at him. I'll either mix up with an aerial 5S, or command grab across the screen. Don't do it too much tho because it becomes predictable then.

@@MikeyDLuffy honestly no lol. I think it was something about after a KD to summon and move Eddie into position. If you do 1 or 3 dB or df Eddie will move and you'll stay crouched.
If you want to practice the overhead combos, set it to crouch and disable block switching

0:41 towards the end of this combo when you do 5S into 2HS, you’re moving Eddie backwards without pose or frog coming out from the S and HS, how do you move him like that without a special coming out. Even when I hold S it doesn’t seem to work 0:44
You hold down forward without releasing a button, you have to hold till Eddie gets into position then release S for frog
Its likely just you not being used to negative edge, it's a very abnormal mechanic if you aren't experienced with a character who uses it
What’s the Safest way to close distance to do a grab mix up from long mid range from a block string? seems every time I get close I get grabbed . Like against Ram
mid range and long range theres not always gonna be true pressure gonna be gaps but if ur getting grabbed then ur mistiming shit or trying to grab in bad spots prolly

tbh i havent tested it so u can try that see how it works but i would just use the one i use and get the input down
