It was the way she turned her back on Patti which I thought was just horrible. Had she been more inclusive in the way she explained things she may not have misunderstood what Patti was saying, or else she’d have realised quickly. The chef was condescending and rude. She first insulted Patti by making her the butt of a joke and talking to her like a child, then she proceeded to ignore her by looking only at Tyra while she was describing her cupcakes. This is basically like when bullies try to make you look or feel stupid in front of others in a covert way by putting words in your mouth or purposefully misinterpreting what you said, and when you try to explain what you meant, before you're able to explain yourself, they double down and talk over you so, then they make you seem crazy or overly sensitive for explaining yourself and not "moving on". This was so funny and cathartic to watch! We need strong, graceful women like Patti to put people in their place because God knows it happens TOO MUCH. I've come home crying due to hostile white women treating me with so much nasty, passive aggressive behavior when I always treat them with kindness and respect. It always hurts when you aren't able to stand up for yourself in the moment, but someone else's poor character is not my responsibility.
