I cannot think what it takes to synchronize house lights to music. To synchronize drones into aerial displays set to music and also in sync with the house light show beyond my little minds ability to comprehend. Much admiration,praise,and thanks to the all creators and laborers who made this possible.

I recently saw this show since they got a permit to do a couple shows and I live in the area. we watched it from the back and it was awesome. Really an amazing experience.
Wow well i have officially thrown my hands up on ever making it or even having a possibility of being on or winning this contest its made for professionals and computer data programmers. I have tried to learn the light orama system and have no idea what im doing. This is next level of the next level people and these are people that have money to buy the next level 😢

Mind-blowing! Not exactly traditional Christmas themed music, but eye candy all the same. I can't begin to imagine the production work that went into this. Especially loved the FPV shots. And a fellow Texan too! Awesome!

Even though these people cheated by doing this with a drone instead of doing it the old fashioned way like everybody else did by decorating the house and yard and the tree on the great light fight special i watched part one but i missed part two and I'm glad that i got to watch it in my RUclips channel this was awesome to see and I'm glad you won dude you deserved it

I'd love to know if the main drone flying around to catch the show from the ground and air, was being manually flown that night, or if it was also programmed. Either way cool, but if it was manually, I'm even more blown away!!!! Thank you for posting!!!

I do the same light show except no drones. I use xlights with falcon controllers and receivers. All 12v xconnect pixels. Looks good bud!!.
I cannot even begin to imagine how they would program all this, and how 400 Drones don't hit one another and needs to not fail at any time etc.
I assume computer software makes it easier, but wind is a thing haha
oh he’s insane, he does it for a living. he programmed like 1500 drones before.

The show has to approve of the music and those songs are all overdone and used on the show.

that should not have been allowed. That's cheating. Professional productions should not be allowed on this show.
I would agree if they hired a company to design and build it. But this family did. Just because they are professionals, it shouldn't disqualify them. They had to learn how to do it just like anyone else that does something like this. 😊
They use to have rules that would not allow this. They also used specific judging criteria. 1) Overall design 2) use of lights 3) Christmas spirit.
Most of them now are either pro or have had years of experience.
It's not cheating they just beat you to the idea THAT'S ALL
You just jealous that they would do anything to win the competition. All the programming and production was done by the family and they just wanted to add drones into the mix
Pretty much says "Hire the best production companies to do a show for you so you can win!"
And no, they did not do the drones themselves!
