For those asking, I temporarily shut down the streetlight by tricking the sensor to think it’s day by shining the first beam on it for a few seconds. Now that I worked out the timing, it’s an ongoing trick I like to incorporate every show 😂

This is straight up Disney production. My mind is blown! I can't even think about the sequencing behind this
as a former audio and light tech, i can't imagine the days/weeks it takes to program a 35 minute show like this. skills, man. insane.
edit: just a reminder that an app/program doesn't magically appear. someone still has to write/design that AND make it user-friendly.

I did! I really love these light shows. Can’t get enough of them! Such amazing talent.
The impressiveness of this show is the fact that the entire house appears to be effectively a giant LED wall; or at least some really great software engineering to make it appear that way. While simultaneously appearing to be a more traditional light setup.
The synchronized lighting effects that span the house, the candy canes, the gutters, and the tree are quite incredible.
The Big tree outside of the house is really cool...

This is absolutely fantastic! As someone who desperately wanted to work in show writing at a theme park but never made the cut, this reminds me that there are ways to do what you love outside of a formal career.
The "take on me" literally gave me goosebumps. My god. I'm so jealous.

Nope its actually very cheap the tree actually uses the least amount of power than the rest b/c a pixie controller only uses like 7 volts of something while a plug in is like 140 I think

Based on the datasheet on his website the beams consume around 350 Watts each (230W lamp with mechanical shutter). Combined, not a lot more than an average electric heater. The LED's will be at least a few hundered watts too.

LED's are exceptionally cheap to run, despite their bright light.
This is the most impressive show of its kind I've ever seen. Kudos to the designer. @Tom BetGeorge, I'm guessing you are a drummer. Your attention to the beat and musical phrasing is great!

every video beats the previous ones-brilliant work and as a computer programmer (former) I can just imagine the weeks of programming and the light set up-simply you are a wizard why you not on tv in xmas specials I dont know-continued success and happy safe holiday to you and family.
My kids would absolutely love this in person. They love seeing all the lights.
In my town there is a whole street that has its own radio station and has light shows every night synced to the music on the radio.

I'd love to see a behind the scenes walk through of the different equipment you're using. Blows my mind that you're able to achieve all of this with, mostly, LEDs. 👏🏻 👏🏻 👏🏻 👏🏻
Same! You should give us a quick behind the scenes. How many hours do you put into planning and programming and testing?
Looks like something like a Falcon F48 or F16v3 controller from www.pixelcontroller.com/store/index.php . FPP running on an RPI v3, WS2811 pixels from Ray Wu or other Aliexpress vendor www.aliexpress.com/store/701799 . The trees look like they are from Boscoyo boscoyostudio.com/ also maybe their Chromatrim. Lighting sequencing done in xlights. I may be wrong but with those you could create a similar display, xlights has some great text to light voice stuff(kinda a pain lining up the words sometimes). My question would be 5V or 12V, there is a correct answer LOL (In the lighting display community there is a lot of argument about using 5v or 12v pixels, the difference is 5v needs more power injection but cheaper where 12v you can get away with longer runs without injection) If you are actually interested in how this is done behind the scenes I would suggest ruclips.net/channel/UCXVmdAdDtjZrvZVEIbfaZCg (Learn Christmas Lighting) or ruclips.net/channel/UCby1v6Kbi8AHMkV2yMyF1MQ (Canispater Christmas) also looks like he(Tom BetGeorge) has his own company and site magicallightshows.com/ which includes some xlights tutorials and services/sales

As much as this year has sucked, as someone who is housebound, I think I've actually been able to enjoy more events this year than the last ten years put together. @@hunterjones1310 Well, it takes place on Christmas, the people are having a Christmas party saying "Merry Christmas", Bruce came to see his family for Christmas and brought pressants for them, he dressed up a dead guy as Santa, he used Christmas decorations as weapons, his wife is named Holly, they play "Let It Snow" at the end, etc. Besides, there's a lot of Christmas/Action movies, so why can't this be 1 of them?

I didn't realise you had a full comedy sketch between your songs. As this is the first time I've seen your full show, living in the UK as I do, I only ever saw the songs you posted.. didn't realise you had an entire 35 min setup put together. Your talent is even better.
