For those asking, I temporarily shut down the streetlight by tricking the sensor to think it’s day by shining the first beam on it for a few seconds. Now that I worked out the timing, it’s an ongoing trick I like to incorporate every show 😂

That is some genius level thinking. Now I have to buy one of your magicolor beams. I saw that and my mind was blown. We have a streetlight in front of our house and this would be game changing for my show 😂
as a former audio and light tech, i can't imagine the days/weeks it takes to program a 35 minute show like this. skills, man. insane.
edit: just a reminder that an app/program doesn't magically appear. someone still has to write/design that AND make it user-friendly.

I did! I really love these light shows. Can’t get enough of them! Such amazing talent.
The impressiveness of this show is the fact that the entire house appears to be effectively a giant LED wall; or at least some really great software engineering to make it appear that way. While simultaneously appearing to be a more traditional light setup.
The synchronized lighting effects that span the house, the candy canes, the gutters, and the tree are quite incredible.
The Big tree outside of the house is really cool...

This is absolutely fantastic! As someone who desperately wanted to work in show writing at a theme park but never made the cut, this reminds me that there are ways to do what you love outside of a formal career.

In my town there is a whole street that has its own radio station and has light shows every night synced to the music on the radio.

Nope its actually very cheap the tree actually uses the least amount of power than the rest b/c a pixie controller only uses like 7 volts of something while a plug in is like 140 I think

Based on the datasheet on his website the beams consume around 350 Watts each (230W lamp with mechanical shutter). Combined, not a lot more than an average electric heater. The LED's will be at least a few hundered watts too.

LED's are exceptionally cheap to run, despite their bright light.
My 3 year old totally loved this. Kept saying "wooww!" And dancing. So cute, so fun, thank you!

Oh wow. Thank you so much for sharing the full show. What a treat. As much as this year has sucked, as someone who is housebound, I think I've actually been able to enjoy more events this year than the last ten years put together. I'm exceptionally grateful to the generous people sharing for everyone to enjoy, so thank you, once more.
Just imagine if the whole row of houses all had this same setup and had been organised together...

Tom, this was amazing. It would be amazing if you did a behind the scenes that talked about the lights you used, the controllers, the software. This is some serious house goals level of awesome.

It is a Christmas movie. It's set at Christmas about a guy going to visit his family at Christmas and the whole story revolves around a Christmas party. There is Christmas music in it. What more do you need to understand it's a Christmas movie?

Hey just out of curiosity that whole thing of home but beer where did that come from originally excetera I've heard that a billion times and don't know the story behind it I'm serious about this every time I hear that phrase I'm like what's that about can anyone shed some light on that I'm sure I'm not the only one

I didn't realise you had a full comedy sketch between your songs. As this is the first time I've seen your full show, living in the UK as I do, I only ever saw the songs you posted.. didn't realise you had an entire 35 min setup put together. Your talent is even better.
As others have said, please put the link to the charities you are supporting in your description so then people who aren't locals can support your good causes.
