    Really funny skit!
I used some of those Fernco Pro couplings to properly convert from copper waste pipe to PVC for toilet, laundry and sink- it's a really nice coupling and I can highly recommend it for DIY. As long as the pipe ends are cut square and deburred, you can be comfortable with sealing them back up in the wall.

Off topic here but please help me. You keep hearing there is a shortage of tradesmen but then you hear of there are 2.000 applicants for Union Apprenticeships and the only accept 40 people. Please reconcile this for me

Ive done them all... Oakum and lead, braze, welding for nitrogen purge on hydrogen furnaces, PEX A and B on and on.... I will never leave a shark bite on a job other than a temporary hose bib or temporary cap, and I refuse to install CPVC( I will make alterations or tap on to a existing system).
