FYI... I tested the original Alpha and, although it was a super smooth bike, I couldn't get past the lack of throttle. The throttle makes a huge difference on Alpha II... and now it's a real competitor in the marketplace!
Thanks for the review! Glad you enjoyed it more than the original Alpha, we incorporated as many rider requests as possible in this new model. Also, we've demo'ed the S/M size with many riders under 5' tall, including some pre-teens around 5'5"! The fit isn't *optimal* for these folks but this bike is much smaller/lighter than many other "one-size-fits-most" step-thrus and thus rider control is pretty good.
My pleasure! I really enjoyed the Alpha II... it has everything riders need for a smooth city or recreational ride. And, yes, being lightweight makes a huge difference to control of the bike. Even when stopping, I knew that I could stop easily by putting one foot down without any worries about "catching" the bike!
Great review. I need that bike!
Yes you do! I'll send positive thoughts your way!
Love the two-tone color!
Yes, it's pretty sleek!
Happy they got smart and added a throttle!
Me too!!!
