Thank you for adding the light "testing" to your videos. Since I work late nights at work. I ride home in the dark. Knowing that the headlight is bright enough for me to see is very helpful.
@@mikec4308 I have a firm belief that if you are going to add lights to a bike to meet a state requirement. It should be adequate to actually be useful. I've seen some bikes have lights worse than a 5 dollar 8 led headlamp from dollar general that uses 2 AAA batteries.
You're the best! I bought my first bike based on one of your reviews. I also have this bike. Strange quirk, if you turn off the power, then power it back up, the charge % jumps up significantly. Lithium chemistry is weird. I've gotten 60 miles out of this bike with a combination of peddling and power in the hills of San Diego. 120 miles? Only if you find 120 mile downhill ride. 😂 Thanks for all your efforts bringing us these reviews.
battery percentage is based off average voltage of battery. Since the percentage is using data while riding, the sag makes it slightly inaccurate. After turning off the bike for a while, it takes a more accurate reading on the battery level without any sag. Even the best ebike in the world cannot fix this
@@icestationzebraassociates2460mine actually does this and its so nice. You can even adjust the power once you hit 50% battery and the bike goes into eco mode lowering the speed limit of the PAS. I hate so much when the bike lose 2 mph simply to conserve battery
You can adjust the voltage percentage of every pedal assist level you want on the Ocelot Pro and can choose up to 9 assist levels if desired (or as low as 3). Its customizable to whatever you want. See this: ruclips.net/video/Z126pGXDcpo/видео.html
I got an Ocelot Pro last year and am very happy with it except the seat post likes to sink down even though I have it as tight as I can get it. I am jealous about the torque sensor now, maybe someday they will make an upgrade kit for the older models. I'm an older guy retired and didn't want to end a ride just because my legs got tired so I went with the cadence but being able to go back and forth is golden.
I'm contemplating of getting the LMTD V2 from Ride1up. I wanna know what you think about this torque sensor bike. I hope future iterations have dual sensor in 'em
I want to say thank you for your review,I brought the g-force t7 after 3 month the controller went bad and I reach out to g-force and never got back to me and Im still waiting. So I put another controller in it I needed my bike to go to work. So I would like to see a review of the juiced jet current pro.
It looks like the throttle is independent of pedal assist levels. Seems to have the same speed using throttle only while selecting pedal assist 1-7. Is that correct?
Doubt you will see this but you do some of the best e bike content. Any chance you can get a himiway cobra pro in for a review ? Would love to see it on your channel. Thx.
Yeah that's odd the 20mph set ajd taking you to 23mph unless wheel size info's abit out? That's a not bad idea being able to pick between the sensors wish bosch would do this with their's but they work together
I really like the cadence/torque sensor combo!! Btw, the e cell torque sensor is a total fail and ironically, after bashing Wired for months it turns out the five star frame is prone to rear loaded death wobble and the rear battery dual star bikes are going to be much worse. They are not testing anything before putting on the market and the owner is certifiable and a crook and ex convict. You should test out a dual star with a gates drive and a torque sensor. It also looks like e cells only bike tech, Gator, just bit Cleveland in the face and now they have no one who can even change a flat.
I got an Eahora Juliet and its nice. Almost hit 900 km and no issue so far. It’s cheaply made and the drivetrain is underwhelming, but lets be real, you dont pedal on these things. Throttle only at max speed is 140km which is insane
I have messaged them before on there gearing . It’s the worst gearing you can have for a pedal assist e-bike . And they set this new e-bike the same way again . Ghost pedaling is annoying . The freewheel has to go down to 11 tooth . The crank needs around 56 tooth . This e-bike freewheel goes down to a high 14 tooth with the crank at 48 tooth . Not sure why they keep sticking with terrible gearing . The new Juiced Jetcurrent Pro gets it right with 11 tooth freewheel and a large 60 tooth crank , allowing you to pedal above 30mph .
There are only a few manufacturers that make ebikes in North America and all the components (almost) are from China, even if the entire bike isn't manufactured there. We just don't manufacture electronics anymore. Thank a Clinton.
Like the channel but realisitic is not riding up a sandy hill or in sand w/your bike the majority of the time. Up a hill and down a hill definitely. Long distances and pedal assist yes.
** It might be just me. The web page looks the same as the Velotric E- bike site. Are they the same corporation, or do just copy what ever looks good?👮🤔
There was actually a lawsuit going on between magicycle and another manufacturer (might have been velotric - or aventon - can't remember which) because of copypasta.
With your skill on the mountain bike video I thought you were a cyclist. As a cyclist on the road you should communicate what you're doing. Straight arm out left for left turns, out right for right turns. And left arm hand down is to indicate stopping or slowing. It's always good to be seen, be predictable and communicate road intentions. Of course when you start reviewing German bikes or motors. It's against the German code of driving to indicate turns. Witnesses amy Audis, BMWs etc. ;-)
nah all that arm signaling is overrated af and really doesnt alert anyone. 99% of car drivers dont even know what the arm signals mean nor do they care or pay attention
Nice review… I bought this bike on your recommendation before you published your review and the review is pretty much spot on. Thanks! Btw - what is the one SWEET feature you mention in the title? Is it the cadence/torque switching?
I've had two of these (26-Deer/20-Ocelot) for over a year. Spec for spec few challengers. And I have not had a single maintenance issue with either unit. ~120 miles per week. So far so good. A few more $$ than others.
Torque sensor is great for workouts, it's a perfect upgrade!

What a great review! The bike sounds amazing! Love that you can switch between torque and cadence sensors so easily.
I absolutely love your reviews. Keep waiting for you to do a review on the Hey Bike Ranger S 1000w motor with the Cadence sensor.
I love your honest, no BS reviews. I think I'll probably go with a Wallke dual motor instead (thanks to you).
buyer beware. ive heard mixed reviews on that bike
PAS 1 @ 5mph is nice when you are sightseeing and want to cruise slow or around crowds. My PAS 1 is 10 MPH, which is too fast.
I hate when you can't adjust this to suit your individual needs. Big pet peeve.
@@icestationzebraassociates2460 that sucks. my ebike allows me to set either 3.5,7 or 9 different PAS levels and custom % for each one
