This video features two missions - one for the the GDR faction (essentially C&C's GDI) and one from the Tempest Dynasty (The Brotherhood of Nod). It's a great game that feels like a perfect homage to the classic C&C games, even down to the cutscenes (though unfortunately no cheesy FMV this time!) :)
Man I really hope that this game does well. C&C was one of my most cherished series growing up, and EA killing it (along with so many other series dear to me) was like a dagger in the heart.

While the GDF uses high-tech computer screens with holographic displays (Not in this video, I saw that in GiantGrantGames' video), the Dynasty uses 70s or 80s graphical style in their computers, showing the technological disparity between the two
I thought of the dynasty technology as about the early 2000s or at least the 1990s but whatever floats your boat. I definitely agree that they made the differences obvious between the GDF and the Dynasty. Now just waiting for the full game so that I can see what is the third faction
Also all GDF soldiers have HUD, while dynasty soldiers use good ol binoculars. Also GDF has drones while dynasty has civilian milita??? I don't see how dynasty has a counter to GDF remote drone ability
Remember Kane worked for the soviets and likely lost a chance to using their efforts after killing off Stalin in world war 2 and probably tried using the Soviet unions army to try taking over the world in preparation for tiberium but he thought maybe back up slow down be deceptive and not try to make a massive presence as to nof have concerns of being betrayed, now stalin was concerned about betrayal but he killed them too soon Kane waited until they tried to betray him until the one lady who found out legion was CABAL

I played the demo too, the graphics, voice acting and aesthetics are the best that came out for RTS since Starcraft 2 in my opinion. I will definitely get this game. Also: The approach the devs and publisher take is commendable. They release a demo and then a full game without early access, dlc and season passes.
Better than EA, which is not hard to achieve though, but respectable. What is truly magnificient, however, is how well-made this game is. Stays true to the classic "retro" RTSs, but also holds today's stsndards. Something StarCraft II and Red Alert 3 failed to deliver in my honest opinion. Edit: I don even grammah
My dad has been playing Tiberian Sun and Red Alert 2 ever since they came out, I tried to get him into Dawn of War, Supreme Commander, Battle for Middle Earth etc to no avail. I'm sure he's gonna love this.
I couldn`t belive what I see during first several minutes of actual gameplay. This is indeed good-looking classic RTS game. Looks like when giant companies fall, buried by their greed (EA, Activision, Relic Entertainment, Blizzard, Bethesda, Creative Assembly, to name a few), new ones take their place and once in a while new good games of nearly forgotten genres appear. Just as in evolution: ecological niche can`t be mepty for long. Recently I lost most of hopes in new RTS and games in general, these game reassures that sometimes good games can be developed in the future.

If you're looking for another old-ish school RTS game in the works, there's Beyond All Reason to check out. It's still in early development, but it's quite well polished with plenty of content to experience, plus it's free.
I played the demo last night myself on my new RTX4080 and I'm amazed how awesome the game will be. I also love the little things here and there, like the Tempest Dynasty people using Apple Lisa computers hahahhaha
Actually, this Dynasty doesn't seem as evil as Nod. In the first two C&C games, Brotherhood was like GI Joe's Cobra: Evil for sake of being evil. In C&C3 they gained little more depth with being the only option for majority of Yellow Zones inhabitants, but still evil, planning forced evolution of mankind (which could also backfire horribly). We don't see yet what makes Tempest Dynasty so evil, as they seem like typical insurgents, considering GDF rule as oppressive. So so far they don't seem as evil as Nod.
The dev comfirmed that both 3 factions won't be Good VS Evil, Just the GDF and the Dynasty are fighting each other for control the Tempest and more territories. the third faction we don't know their goal and who they are yet.
@@redzeckez3346 I see. I compared them to the factions from C&C as it was the most obvious. Also, in that one cutscene in the ruins, what GDF did was rather typical to bad guys, to arrive, kill everyone, than destroy the rest.
@@XYZ-eo8um Actually the first mission for both of them is to disrupt enemy mining operations in their own territory, I believe the GDF shoot at retreating enemy forces in the Tempest Dynasty mission, and the Tempest Dynasty use flamethrowers which have been banned since WWII for being inhumane weapons. So basically it's a wash. Thanks for reminding me about the third faction though, curious who they turn out to be.
Gotta say, I really appreciate the Dynasty soldiers still sound mostly like soldiers and not some derp idiots like conscripts in RA2/3 (And more like RA 1 Soviet infantry.)

The devs stated that the in-game cutscenes are done using the in-game engine that runs the game. What you see is what you play. I would rather have a strong campaign and cool units then have cool FMV that takes away their budget.

Same problems as the EA games too I see. C&C is about collecting resources, buuilding a base, building an army, and then defeating the enemy. EA misunderstood Tanya. They thought it was the commando gameplay that was the big seller, but it was her boobs. The players played for the base building and the most commonly used cheats where to skip those annoying missions where you cant build a base. Then EA released C&C4 that had basebuilding completely removed. At that point it was C&C in name only. It flopped because C&C fans want basebuilding, not squad based commando maps.

GDI had grenadiers as does GDF, NOD instead had Flame infantry as does Tempest dynasty.

So far I haven't seen anything, which could catch the eye, quite the opposite. And Dynasty EVA's voice is really annoying.
