I love Fnaf world not only because it's genuinely a solid little rpg with a lot of charm, but because I really respect a dude feeling a bit stuck doing one thing for the past few years and wanting to take a chance at doing something else they wanted to do again for a while, while still being really fitting to one half of the series. I always loved the silly side of the franchise.
He put more work into fnaf world than fnaf 3 too which kinda irked me
@@danatedawg1018 last 3 as in SL(Sister location) PZS(Pizzeria sim) and SB(security breach) or other ones like UCN(Ultimate Custom Night) and HW(Help Wanted)? Cuz Scott worked his ass of working on all of them (except SB for obvious reasons)

Im glad FNaF World is finally getting the recognition it deserves. It's just a charming little game to run though every now and then.
I tried a what I'll call an "Afton" run - Basically I used only Springtrap, Purple Guy, Springbonie & I believe Plushtrap. I can now see why those characters are late unlocks but it was still a fun little time sink.
fredbear/golden freddy can mean evan too. which is in the afton family

The only issue being purple guy in FNAF works isn’t afton he’s a Shadow representation of him
seeing how you considered the troll games as spinoffs, that opens the flood gates for more of scott's non-fnaf games. i'd love to see you review the desolate hope at some point.
I'd _love_ for him to review/play The Desolate Hope. Ever since I played it back in like 2017, I have been hoping for Scott to make a sequel. It's got a nice combination of cool designs, interesting RPG mechanics, and a slightly unsettling world with fun worldbuilding.
Ngl, the desolate hope looks a lot more interesting than most anything FnaF related to me. I've never really wanted to actually go out and play FnaF, but the desolate hope looks like something I'd be down to actually buy (even if the OST would have to be changed)
you should 100% do fan games. Sure, there may be a lot, but most of the more popular ones are pretty good. one of the ones i think you should talk about is the "final nights" series. it is not very popular any more. since the final game released a few years ago

Final nights as a whole is underrated and too many people say that Tjoc is the best fangame makes me feel like it's overrated

Because game was unfinished and rushed when it was released, not only that, peoples had to pay for it.

Final version of FNAF World is actually pretty good

It’s almost kinda like a mobile game to me. But a good one. It’s insanely addictive, pretty short, and it even plays like how you would see in a mobile game.
Two criticisms I have is that it’s kinda boring in the story department. Like, obviously this game was never meant to have a coherent story, but maybe having like, one dialogue for the shop keepers like Lolbit would’ve been nice.
Also, characters should be harder to get. Or, at least harder to beat in battle. Like, none of them to my memory use any of their moves; and it would make the idea of capturing animatronics more intense. Granted, it would probably make it unnecessarily difficult to get new party members, but perhaps up the luck of finding them to compensate.
I think fnaf World is pretty fun! I felt it was charming and enjoyable for what it was. I think I might like Freddy in Space 2 more, but I would also put it at a solid number 2 spot on my list.
The books could be a nice thing to talk about. I mean hardly anyone acknowledges them (or at least the first three), and I think they should deserve more attention.
Freddy in Space 2 gets a thumbs up from me regardless because of the context that it was made in. The other games were made either as a joke or as a promotion for a future game, but Freddy in Space 2 was made specifically as part of a charity event for St. Jude Children's Hospital. During the 9-hour stream it was created for, every dollar collected in the game was one dollar that Scott would then donate to that charity, which totaled at a whopping 500 000 dollars in the end. That alone deserves respect.
I never understood why people hated fnaf world so much not everything needs to be dark and spooky all the time
Because the advertisement lied about the overworld's graphics at launch and the RPG mechanics were rather barebones - remember, FNaF World at launch still had atari-style sprites for its overworld, while the trailer promised graphics based on prerendered 3D models like the battles had.
I remember when I used to play the original sit n’ survive on my phone and I was like “this is really fun,” so seeing it all of a sudden not on my phone and it wasn’t on the App Store, actually made me pretty sad it was gone, good to see there’s atleast a re-skin of this game that’s available to play today.

I'll be honest. I did NEVER understood what people had against FNaF World. It's almost like that child the whole family hates even tho it's super talented and all. I loved it from minute zero. The ideas were so fresh and, god, the desings were cute AF.
I still hope we get a third update with the new animatronics... Fanmade or not.
Same, i've been wanting for an update for years
The main issues people had were
1. It’s not main series so a lot of people didn’t care
2. The art style makes the horror characters cute and people didn’t jive with it
3. On release it was a buggy mess with a terrible overworked
4. The story wasn’t great in the base hand
5. People didn’t like how meta it was in the second DLC

I honestly never understood why everyone hated FNAF world. It's one of my favorite FNAF games that I managed to download on my phone that's very cute and addicting! Once I sit down and start it's ready hard for me to stop. I always thought it was fun and I'm still working on beating it.
Because initially the game costed 10 dollars and was all pixels, when in the trailer the game was 3d
I also love this game and i wish scott made more updates for it but because of all the hate he is never going to make another update (and also because he retired from fnaf)

that ucn troll game is most likely around 1993-1996 or so cause if im correct that’s made in klik and play, the first version in the clickteam series and designed specifically to teach kids to make games

I'd die happy if fnaf world got an update that added at least some of the new animatronics that got introduced in the series

I played FNAF world when it was new and absolutely hated it, never looked back since. Glad to see it's been improved and people are actually liking it though.
FNAF world is just amazing. It's so cool making the FNAF characters into an RPG and it's just fun to play. I'm sad that it was taken off of steam, I would've loved to see it updated with the newer animatronics

FNAF World is the only of these games in the video I count as canon and on par the mainline games.
I wish that there was a sequel to the core collection featuring: fnaf 6, fnaf ucn, fnaf world, freddy in space 2, fury’s rage, and a collection of some fnaf minigames from fnaf 2,3,sl, and 6.
That’s my dream core collection sequel.
I love these FNAF ranking videos! One list I think that would be interesting would be ranking each game's 20/20 modes in terms of difficulty. I've never seen anyone do that before.
I mean obviously 50/20 would be the hardest but seeing the other ones ranked would be neat!

Well, UCN does require more luck than skill. I'd say pre-patch Golden Freddy on V. Hard is harder.
I personally think fnaf world deserves a second game adding the remaining animatronics

FNAF world and AR are technically canon though since world contained a lot of lore for FNAF 3 and sister location. And FNAF AR is the delivery app they made

World used to be, not just my favorite FNAF game, not just my favorite RPG. But my favorite game IN GENERAL.
But nowadays, about 4 years later looking back, it's still a great game, but by no means fantastic imo. It's boring, requires a walkthrough to get all of the overpowered stuff and in some cases (*Cough* *Cough* The Circus Entrance *Cough* *Cough*) they're required just to progress. And MAN getting the final army is tedious. Star Foxy is fun, Bonnie.exe is genuinely terrifying but fun, Freddy In Space 1 Is a cool idea but wasn't fleshed out until it's sequel and is arguably as bad as...You know...I remember as a kid I just skipped Chica's Magic Rainbow. The Rainbow fight was HELL but still better then that cesspit of a minigame. But just like HW and im gonna get shot for this, but SB. The Pros outweigh the cons by a decent margin.

I was confused playing FNAF world. I had no idea what I was supposed to do. I tried to walk around to find things, but it kept throwing me into random fights. It felt like I was aimlessly wandering and doing boring fights with no context.

I think fury's rage appeals to the snes/Sega Genesis style double dragon games gamers who like those style of beat em ups 👊✊. I definitely played those kinda games growing up and they were really fun but simple. I'm feeling old at 28 saying this but I really like Scott's RPG and beat em ups games (you can tell he really liked final fantasy and other classic nes/snes games). I think if you just tried some of the games with some of these kinda things in mind you'd get his humor/style of those games. I can tell Scott prolly played old point n clicks himself too. All of these mesh and come out as FNAF Chippers Sit n Survive
Yeah pretty much. I mean i understand why he put it so low especially when he mentioned how he was more into Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter. If he had played Streets of Rage i bet he would've enjoyed it more.

I’ve been playing Fnaf At for a while and even though it’s discontinued now, I’d rank it as pretty great. I’d probably put it above FiS2, but below Fnaf World
I honestly have to say, your list is exactly as mine, but i have to say, fnaf world is my favorite fnaf game, ik, its weird, is becuz i like the fnaf characterization on the game, also how more replayability than other fnaf games it has, so fun. I wished the models were still the same from the original games tho. Also wished an update. Also this game is the one with the best (fun) fangames, i enjoy fnaf world, and wished people could see what it really is....

I actually like furys rage more then fnaf world personally. I love the beat em up style with the characters to give them personality. Also fnaf world suffers from balance issues alot since you have to change your party as you play to even have a chance at beating it and to get new characters you need the chip which takes up a slot and it just becomes more of a grind then fun. If I have to get freddy to level 40 to even be close to a level 1 nightmare freddy the balance is horrible and punished creativity.
Actually people has beaten the game with the initial party, it's obvious you're gonna need to change your low tier characters to better ones for better chances at winning, the find character actually isn't so of a "farm thingy" 1 slot doesn't matter that much and you can play normally getting lots of new characters, the farm thing only starts when you are only 5 characters left and honestly getting the last characters isn't worth it at all because previous characters are already good and you can get the halloween ones, they are only a problem when you need the fan trophy, and last thing, it's obvious that the most basic character in the game at level 40 will be weaker than a high tier character at level 1 that is made to help you in late game, I think the only bad thing of this game is that it's very luck based sometimes but it's still the most fun FNaF game for me.

It'd be quite interesting to see what you think of the FNaF books. I love pretty much the majority, but I know others don't like quite a few of them, so it'd be cool to hear your takes. As long as you don't put TTO low, that is.
I would agree with most of your takes, aside from two.
I think FNaF3 Troll Demo is the second least good game, not because of it being a trolly platformer, but rather because, to me, platformers ARE their physics. If physics are bad, the gameplay will be bad.
Another thing I disagree with is no horror game being topped by a spinoff... Uhh, no. Many of them are better games then Security Breach. Every FNaF game is also a better time then FNaF2.
Tho these are just my opinions.

what about fnaf VR and ultimate custom night? I'm pretty sure they count as spinoffs since fnaf VR is literally a minigame collection based on the original fnaf games. and ultimate custom night doesn't even have "Five Nights At Freddy's" in the title.
they directly tie in to the main story. with UCN being Afton's personal hell and Help Wanted creating Glitchtrap which became Burntrap in the (unfortunately) main-line Security Breach.
five nights at fuckboys is still the best fnaf fan game imo
