I love that this guy was kinda of doing a bit of a Nicholson impression. You see so many Ledger's or Leto's in fan films, it's nice to see Jack getting some love.
They even kept his Nicholson Joker persona. Showed Napier J. as the comedian.

That is because the Nicholson version was closer to the silver ages versions of joker. As opposed to Mark Hamel's more golden age version with less violence and more serious.
one thing wrong with this sentence, LETO JOKER FANS! theres only like 124 of them so I don't believe that there are many leto joker fan films

At first I wasn't a fan of the joker's face but then I realized that's the face of a criminal that has been beaten up by the bat several several times.
ADRoss plus depending on the interpretation, burned by acid.
Not to mention the face of someone who never changes it.

He sounds like 89 Joker and the one from Under the Red Hood animated movie. With some mannerisms of Dark Knight and animated series Joker and has the face of Arkham Joker. Such a great use of interpretations.
Joker's appearance definitely looks inspired by Under the Red Hood Joker (John DiMaggio) and he definitely does switch between Nicholson and DiMaggio. Good portrayal! A little heavy on the prosthetics, but Damn he looked good!
He's terrifying
Its like they threw in a little of every iteration, very well thought out id say. Like an homage to all of their versions.
the face specifically is amazingId love to see that kind of prosthetics or whatever in a feature length film
Also I liked the 1989 reference about bob being jokers number one guy. Apparently in this universe joker hasn’t killed him yet lol!

That is one freaky looking Joker. I've really come to enjoy seeing different interpretations of this character. Decent all around.
The darkest character of "Joker" was Heath Ledger. The others made a parody but he truely made it dark.

Wow, Joker genuinely made me uncomfortable when he wouldn't talk. Loved all the cameos of more obscure rogues like Dr. Death. You guys are doing incredible work!

With A Death in the Family mixed in
This proves the people who run the DCu have no idea what makes thier characters tick....
This guy who portrayed the joker just paid homage to all the cinematic actors who protrayed the joker on the big screen and capture what the joker really is .....pure evil....

This is the best version of the “Joker” I’ve seen yet! The actor who plays him should be recruited to the big screen Batman movies!! He truly understands the character of the Joker!! Also BRAVO to the make-up artist who did Joker! The artist really conjured up the EVIL in the Joker’s face, better than ANY Joker in the movies or on TV!!

This Joker is straight outta B:TAS!!!
😯The Makeup really is incredible it gives me a cross between two probably by now quite obscure vibes, one being of the main villain from the Dick Tracy movie and the other being the monster body guard to the lead villain in the Rocketeer movie 🤔 also have to echo others here’s refreshment that this Joker is so much his own man compared to all the just straight impressionists takes on the character

@@thenerdterminatortnt8466 I meant nowadays when somebody does a fan film it's almost always Heath ledger inspired. It's true jack Nicholson is the most comic accurate live action movie depiction so far. The version he played was straight out of laughing fish and five way revenge when it comes to his personality but I didn't like how he pretty much saw Batman as an annoying newsence when joker is supposed to enjoy battling Batman and him being the Wayne killer was kinda unnecessary.

The opening shot of the joker gave me chills
So this was incredibly good.
That montage of trying to escape with the telling of the joke was so thrilling and the timing on it was just perfect.

Seeing Scarface and the ventriloquist trying to pick up a girl in the strip club gave me a good giggle
This was dope. The guy who played The Joker killed it. The laugh was on point. Love how they used how robin was killed in death in the family

While primarily a dead ringer for Nicholson, this Joker had the unpredictability of Ledger, the zaniness of the likes of Hamill and Nicholson, and in some ways, had elements of Leto’s trashiness/pure creepiness. All in all, this Joker was a decent amalgamation of the Jokers we’ve had over the years, and I’m all here for it.
He also had a touch of J from Gotham.
This is excellent. From the homage to 1990 Jack's version of The Joker to the cinematic noir style of filming. From beginning to end a joy. Thank you for doing this right.

Coming back to this fan film 5 years later it holds up pretty damn good. This Joker actor is fucking great. Even the interpretation of Killer Croc has grown on me

I love that he didn't try to do the high pitched jokery voice many try to do. I also though making Killer Croc cajun was a nice touch.
I wanted to pass this off as amateur, however the story the acting much better than any recent DCU. Great job.

I liked this a lot. I personally prefer the first one, but however I love the take on the Joker and all of these amazing cameos. I also love how it's more like an episode and it keeps me on the edge of my seat for the next one.

This was amazing! Probably the best fan made Batman/Joker film I've seen.
I have one little quibble though and that's when Robin (Red Robin?) pulls out his phone revealing his identity. Honestly I feel like that could've been left out, as it was obvious this guy wasn't just some two-bit hood, especially with how he spoke and openly disrespected the Joker. Sure he punches the bouncer after Joker warns him on "nobody touches the boss", but the ease and skill at which he dispatches the guard is another big giveaway that he's not the normal rabble that would be driving Joker around.
Aside from that, the first line still stands. Loved it!

Great style, great editing. the jokers make up took away from an amazing performance. It kind of made him look like a muppet which pulled me out of some otherwise intense moments. I’m sure you guys did everything with what you had.

The best Joker fan film of all time. One of my favorite short films of all time as well, if not my favorite. I absolutely love this film so much. I wish you could've done a continuation.
