awesome tutorial my man, got airlink set up and just spent 2 hours flying around on elite dangerous. Now im sat contemplating existance waiting for my quest to charge again. PC VR is an absolute game changer
Hey in case you don't know : you can charge the headset while playing. Just get a light power extension cord if you don't have a long enough link cable like me, it won't bother you too much because Elite is mostly a seated experience, so you won't do 360° on yourself. One hour later you should be close to 80% (wich is the best point to stop charging to preserve batterie life on the long run), you can unplug and live free again ! Rinse and repeate.
I got airlink working but I can't figure out how to get my games to show up in the Oculus app library. Only 2 of my 10 games or so show up. I check all "hidden", "unknown sources" and "uninstalled" but Population One and like 6 other games don't show up.
Just purchased Alyx in the sale so thought I would give Air Link a go. I had my concerns as I'd read air Link could be a bit hit or miss but it worked amazingly well. Alyx is a brilliant game, I am blown away by the graphics. Thanks for the tutorial.
Having just got a q3 and discovering the issues of the dreaded link cable, this video is absolutely a “sanity saver”. Simple to follow instructions for not just air link but for connecting Steam as well. Fantastic job👍
Is it possible to download app lab games onto the computer? None of my app lab games show up in the library and they don't show up in the app search bar the way they do in the headset. I also can not get them via direct link to a browser because it thinks I "already own them" (which I do but within the headset).
